The beef i have with Jakethesnake69 is he is claiming almost 18 inches and posts a pic about HALF that size (whether or not this was the intention of the original photo) that because of the camera angles, gives the impression of a huge penis.  As in most pics i have seen posted in this LPSG yahoo group and some other amatuer photo groups, the posters do NOT resort to such trickery.  I have seen other pics in this set where jake got this one, where the guys hands are in the picture holding his dick and suddenly the true size relationship is established.  

Pics that are retouched with photoshop are usually very easy to spot, once your eye knows what to look for (e.g repeating patterns showing the multiple "cut and pastes" to create length, blurring around the insertion point, "pixelization" caused when the dick pic is enlarged relative to the body, etc.) even though that is not the case with Jake's pic.

Some people are just bad judges of size even if the pic clearly shows the size the poster is claiming.  Therefore, I would suggest that if you are concerned about negative feedback by putting your x-pics in the LPSG public domain folder, that you only share your x-pics with the people in which you have established an LPSG or other online friendship, like some members here have done (myself included).

hungwitz: The main question here was not "is he really 17" but the inconsistencies in his data and the fact that he is using someone's picture.

Nacard01, if you were to post a picture, there would be more credibility, as you have been active and forthcoming.

Krowax: Nacard, it's easy to take a pic that is _proof_.

Make sure you're standing above something like a carpet that has an advanced texture. Hold a RULER by your dick in the pic.

The second part is that you take a pic that is far away from your body, that way the angle doesn't matter very much when it comes to what it looks in size depending on how close/far away from the pic it is. A few meters is a good distance.

If it looks real, I'll believe it, and I'm quite "trained" to spot photoshopped pics aswell. I just happen to know quite a bit about photo shooting and angles etc, and what it can do to a picture.

mindseye: I hate I missed this thread when it was active, but there were a lot of people who jumped on sevenwantsten (and a few other posters) with this kind of reasoning:

"This is supposed to be a support group. There's a 1 in a million chance that he could be telling the truth, so we should be supporting him!"

There's a big difference between supportiveness and gullibility. If we give in and "act supportive" to every 17", 35", 5 furlong, and 27-lightyear dick that posts in the group, we'd quickly find ourselves overrun with kiddies just trying to outdo each other, and the forum wouldn't be very usable as a support group for folks who really do need it.

Calling attention to and dismissing obvious lies and trolls are a reasonable tactic in preserving the integrity of this group. Frankly, doing so is being supportive.

The photograph that "jakethesnake" posted isn't his. It's been widely circulated around the internet for years. Nor is the penis in the photograph even believably close to 17". (For comparison, 17" is the breadth of your telephone directory when it's opened flat). On my frame, a 17 3/4" penis would extend well past my nipples and nearly reach my collarbone.

awellhungboi: Okay, maybe I was wrong.  I had written, as recently as a couple of weeks ago, that I was willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.  After reading this thread, and some of the points others have made, I'm rethinking my position on that.  I think some of these extreme claims are having a detrimental effect on the board.  I don't know, or much care, whether or not Jakethesnake or anybody else has 17".  Maybe so.  But I'm beginning to find these ontological arguments scattered throughout the board rather tiresome.  

Although many, newbie and veteran alike, have indeed proven to be impressive, (although never, to me, because of their genitals); nobody has any obligation to try to inspire awe, whether by a humonguous sex organ or a well-honed sense of incredulity.  Personally, I tend to judge people here more by content and context, not by photographs, charts, mathematical formulae, signed affidavits.  

I think, (and to the relief of many, no doubt), this is probably the last time I'll weigh in on this sort of subject.

niner: Just an observation.. it may look like I haven't been here long, but I used to be a user a while ago and just came back, so I can say with some certainty that this whole issue is something that's happened MANY times before, and WILL happen again.

Have a look in some psychology books -- men have an inherent urge to be competitive at everything... if it were a board for average sized penii(?) then someone would come up and say they're 10 and throw everyone off... whether it's true or not, I have no idea. Personally, I think it's sad that people feel the need to impress people they don't know personally and only relate to them through text on the Internet, just to feel better about themselves or for the sole interest in trying to get other people jealous of what you don't have, but that's an entirely different discussion. I know what I have, and while it's farily up there (particularly if you take averages in mind), it's certainly not double digits and I really don't care if people are bigger, because there's always bigger.

As for jake, I tend to think it's fake, seeing that 17's literally past your average person's knee, but whether it is or not, taking four pages of post after post of people claiming they don't agree -- I think the point's been exhausted... it was exhausted at the end of page 1. I don't believe it, most others don't, and there you have it... jake's obviously not going to retract it, so believe what you will and we should just move on.

I had to put in my two cents on this one. First, I don't know how big these guys are, but I can personally attest that some guys are 17 inches. I know it's very rare, but my boyfriend is about that size, and yes, I have measured. So I guess I'm not one to call people liars on here just because they say they are really big. I didn't think there were guys that big until I met my boyfriend, so I know why people are skeptical, I guess.

H8Monga: What I don't understand is how in the world have I missed this thread? I remember reading it when it was new and forgot about it. I guess I'm one of those people with half a brain. Anyway glad I found it before it gets locked if it will. Also, I second everything mindseye said (saves me from repeating). I've seen the pic and cortsmyname (and other names using the pics) elsewhere going back three years. The guy may be 17" but doesn't have a pic. I don't know why people feel they have to steal pics (gigantikok has soooo many clones)... I guess the most insecure or pathological liars do that.

As far as Kermit, I can understand the fear he has, but given how sincere he has been here, there should not be any doubt it is he.

Javierdude, I am impressed with your math! I'm not good with math and your number-grinding helps me put a number to a number (if that makes sense) since I really haven't thought about breaking it down like that (in detail I guess, again if that makes sense).

seven_wants_ten, is it that hard to believe someone? Not everyone is a liar. I guess I can call you a liar for being 7"... after all EVERYONE online is 7"! Next thing you'll say is you're 9" and say it's the PE when you haven't done a thing at all. In your quest to "better" yourself, it'd be best to focus on the penis last since that isn't your biggest problem or trait that needs fixing.
