Oh forgot to add the details.

Numerous times I’ve been grabbed, “cat called” or whatever you call it, kissed against my will, leered at, groped, cornered, been pressured almost into having sex (she stripped off in front of me and tried to coerce me to have sex with her), teased when I exclaim that I don’t want it, stalked (numerous times), I’ve been taken advantage of while intoxicated too (against my will).

All of these by women.

At 16, a 50 something woman grabbed my crotch at a concert.
At 17, a 30 something woman grabbed my crotch on the train.
As a grown up, the women at work make comments here and there and take pictures of me lifting things.
But it's more silly than anything else.

I will say that some of the stories I have read on this site perpetrated by it's members are horrifying.

#metoo is NOT only for women to speak up.

Men are more than welcome to tell their stories. You don't have to be a woman to be a victim of sexual assault, and you don't have to be male to be an offender.

Anyone who says otherwise is hoping to shut down anything women have said about their experiences.

Men can use the same hashtag. Using another specifically for men is the opposite of equality. We're supposed to be in this together. Victims against offenders. Period.

I wonder whether and I doubt whether male victims would generally want and expect the same outcomes from an alternative metoo. I don't think there is an equivalent possible at the moment and I don't expect male victims of abusive behaviour either perpetrated by women or other men, to step into #metoo.

That’s the thing though. The #metoo movement outright refuses to acknowledge female predators.

I have not seen any mention of female predators, but I don't see that the movement refuses to acknowledge they exist. The issue is how many have been reported, and the reality is most predators are men. Clearly not always, the numbers seem to lean that way. There was a recent case in which an actress involved in the #MeToo movement against Harvey Weinstein was named as an abuser by a man who had settled a lawsuit abuse against him. Again, a lot of media comments were along the lines of "he should have been grateful and kept his mouth shut." Still, the case was pretty heavily covered.

Just as a heads up so you know in case it saves you some effort, you're having a conversation w/ a forum troll. You can check his post history in women's issues to see who he is.

I have never seen a man speak out about it but I have clearly witnessed it, recently as last night. The way it was addressed was to laugh it off.

Maybe you should google the "Roman Catholic Church."

Probably part of it if not a LOT of it is that there are so few females in the positions that would/could make them "predators" in the "Harvey Weinstein" sense of the word.

The one area where it does seem to be the case are all those 20 something hotties who manage to become teachers and the next thing you know many, too many of them are fucking very willing male students left right and center and as noted the reaction often, way too often is something to the effect of "gee what a lucky little SOB, where were all those hot teachers wanting to fuck me when I was in JR. High??

I don’t doubt the sincerity of your post, but I think some men might like to have experiences such as yours!

I’ve been fondled, grabbed, groped while sleeping and had women and men aggressively importune for sex, have been offered money and favors for sex, accosted by drunks of both sexes, been offered money for pix (and films during my college days) but I’ve always managed to reject what I myself didn’t want, but taken advantage of? no. Since an erection is necessary for fucking or getting sucked off, nothing happens when I and Messr. Terrible didn’t want it. One of my sons laughs when he recounts the times he’s used the line, ‘I’m up here’.

Women have been so oppressed by men for so long, it’s understandable that the MeToo movement would happen, and it’s way past due. Try for some understanding.

I’m sure that there’s happiness in your life—concentrate on that.

I’ve been drugged and raped. I’ve had a male superior at work moleste me on several occasions. I’ve had friends grope and perform oral sex on me when I was asleep.

Completely wrong. You’re dismissing my experience. The only reason that men are over represented in the stats is because women report far more frequently. Men don’t.

I know that the #metoo movement is a hot steaming pile of garbage when one of its leaders (Asia Argento) gets an underage boy drunk and has intercourse with him. This only adds to this epidemic of female educators having relations with underage boys. None of it is widely reported on and no outrage from these “people for equality” is heard.

What a ridiculous post.

“Women have been oppressed (and are no longer), so being sexually assaulted by them is no big deal”.

Fuck off.
