No. I don't have this exact style, but I do have a few similar ones. The ones I have, the waistband isn't so high.
I like them. I like the support I get from them. I live that g strings and thongs don't bind at the leg openings or get loose over time.

Possibly, although most posing shorts that I've seen are not quite so skimpy. They would be fun for bedroom sports. Surprise your partner when you peel off your undies and have that underneath.
Bought my first one when I was 18. Yea, my mom knows.
She found one of my really skimpy g's and at first assumed it was a girl's. Then I pointed out that it had a pouch in front and wasn't flat... then she thought I was gay. Took a while, but she finally realized that I wear thongs and g's but still love females.

LOL well I love how people think GAY when they see stuff like this. Stereotyping much? I wouldn't wear them, unless asked too by my significant other or for $$ 
...but there are much WORSE things a person could wear. These are more for gogo dancing and such...not for just normal wear. AND for the record...not everyone can pull off wearing something like this and look good. Imagine that pic with a HUGE pkg packed in it and a hot BEEFY muscular bod. Not the skinny tone fella they got modeling it. BIG legs and beefy muscle ass would make that look less ummm frilly

I'm on the fence, although leaning strongly towards no, but I have worn a g-string in the past. I must admit, it's fun wearing something that hugs your package, which makes it feel like it's standing out more, but I didn't like the feeling of something crawl up my butt.

I have one, I've worn once for about 3 minutes. I bought it to pose for my husband. However only my balls would fit in it. OF course I was hard. Otherwise any I have seen wouldn't cover anything and would not be comfortable.
Jockstraps have really never gotten my attention so I can't say for sure. I've never worn one. But I would assume so since they are similar.
Jockstraps just seem weird to me cuz your ass is bare, completely exposed, but a thong or g at least has the small thin piece of fabric 'covering' your ass in the middle. Haha, crazy right?
Originally it was underwear/workwear worn by French coalminers in the heated depths of the earth. If it is functional then why not; if it is just another "look at me" gimmick then whatever is your thing.
