I have a female friend who says that she can have an orgasm just by thinking about sex. Is this possible?
Yup.
'That would be AWESOME!' That was my first thought -accompanied by acute envy and all sorts of 20-something irrationality and bitchiness- when my then-neighbor shared her secret. I guess there was so much for Young Me to process that I would eventually come back to her enough times, she finally put the subject off-limits.
That is how important the female orgasm is. The merest mention can alienate neighbors, destroy relationships, summon authorities, make or break entire careers and can even launch a thousand ships. Well, technically it was Helen's face but I imagine her orgasms were to die for.
I digress. What the neighbor was trying to convey (and what I refused to hear) was that -for her- it was a curse. When she was in her teens and 20s, the complications of this ability absolutely wrecked her entire socialization into womanhood. There's lots more to learn from her and about orgasms but yes; some tiny percentage of women can think their way 'there' - if you want to call it thinking.
I was lucky to have heard the neighbor's tale and luckier still to have had years of life-experience before I actually had an 'easy'* in an intimate relationship. She couldn't just snap her fingers but there were a bunch of no-touch and 'rightplay' activities through which we could get her to comlete mental and physical orgasm without getting anywhere near her -jeez- VAGINA. I'm talking about the entire physical state and everything that happens before, during and after. Not just the Little-O, maintenance orgasm a girl can pull off at her desk, in her office. No. I mean the extended heavy breathing, the (almost excessive) wetness, moaning, involuntary body movements, screaming, convulsions, loss of body control, coming, yes; sometimes peeing, exhaustion and the inevitable cry out and surprisingly? Fits of uncontrollable laughter.
It was quite the show.
Why was I fortunate to have had the neighbor's story and some maturity before the girlfriend? Chasing Orgasms. There's probably doctorates on only this issue so I won't even try, except to say that -apparently- being so capable can easily lead obsession. Addiction, Problem-Climaxing or whatever that's called.
So I was careful with her and knew to strictly avoid 'going for seconds' vis-a-vis her playtime. Apparently, my old neighbor spent much of her teens and twenties trying to have just. one. more.
It sounds like it could become a punishment that Hades himself would devise.
And I can end that not having mixed the metaphor. Note the date @}~~~
* I'm sure there's a clinical term for able women. I could easily Google it but a huge part of me wants to understand it only on an anecdotal level. Something about clipboards, lab coats and having a superhot orgasm... just doesn't appeal to my aesthetic.
