Just wondering if many of the posters here feel that their life posting on forums, playing video games and interacting through the internet is more compelling or more exciting than their actual life in the real world.

since my real life doesn't have dragons, zombies, Winchester or thunder gods.. yes.. online is way more interesting.

real life keeps the lead by merit of boobehs and pizza.
wootwoot boobehs and pizza!

Real-life can be boring and stressful, my online life isn't - normally. I have lots of lovely friends on LPSG and access to music etc. It's great! Most of the time, I think my online life is more 'interesting' - it's definitely more relaxing. However, you can't really beat the physical contact of real-life (sexual or not ).

*reads 'thunder gods', feels flattered - then realises Thor is a more likely candidate*

The conversations I can have on here are more interesting than those I have in real life given that any mention of large penii in real life would only earn me a sideways look.

But is my online time more interesting than real life?
No.

Online is just something I do, but it's not more interesting than real life. It relaxes me. Except when it doesn't and then I end up proposing to SK (but that's another story!). My real life friends, work and family are way more interesting. Too bad you don't know about them!

I don't wear leather pants and drag the pegs through the corners online, so no.

Plus I encounter fewer trolls in real life than I do online.

Nah ....
Online, I shoot bad guys... post naked pictures of me & my girl... and make jokes.
In the real world, I train with MMA legend Royce Gracie .... do a dangerous job that could cost lives & millions of dollars in property damage, if I screw up.... and have the best sex ever with my hot gf.
Real life wins...... big time.

I must say that my real world is divided into parts that suck; and parts that are Awsum. Though I should say that even my suckiest days can be pretty Awsum.

Online is ok as a way to have fun, escape and have a few laughs for a while

I almost think I sometimes venture into the more bizarre areas of the Internet to learn to appreciate the fact that people I encounter in real life aren't the biggest idiots in the world, which I sometimes think. The Internet has its share of awesome people too, of course, but the jerks take up a disproportionate amount of space. Which is partly what makes the Internet a fun place to procrastinate.

Besides, most of the time I use the Internet to interact with people I do know in real life. The day LPSG becomes more interesting than my real life, I will have to kill myself.

My online life consist of LPSG, Facebook, instaham and an online class. Soooo I'd say it can get interesting but I like my real life more better than online life. Shit I post/say here is how I am in real life as well. Besides, I can't hug and kiss my man on the internet. :naughty:

You mean there's something beyond the interwebzzz.......

Now what do I do???

Even though the web can't really tell the whole story about a person. I'm pretty much me if you take the time to know me.
