My balls have been itching pretty frequently, sometimes the underside of my shaft as well. I can't figure out why. One theory I have is that ever sine quarantine, I've been going commando pretty much every day in sweats or gym shorts. I wonder if I am having a reaction to the fabrics?

Another possibility is that I ran out of lube for my Fleshlight and have been using petroleum jelly. I've used Vaseline in the past without any trouble, but this is a cheap CVS generic bottle. Could that be a problem?

Sounds suspiciously like jock itch to me. Over the counter sprays are easy to find and work quickly. . This will fix most fungal problems, and is a quick and easy first step.

Jock itch happens when there is a combination of heat and moisture, so if the underside of your dick is sweaty and sticking to your balls, then this would be a logical explanation.

I'm not sure if women are supposed to reply here, so if I'm not, mods please delete this.

I think your issue is using the petrolium jelly. Petrolium jelly is naturally hydrophobic and has little to no water solubility. Meaning you are likely not washing it off of yourself fully when you use it. It is more than likely causing clogged pores in your nether regions and holding in excess oils in your skin making it itchy. This can sometimes lead to rashes or infection. Give yourself a few days of not using it, clean your toy with a very good toy cleaner and mild soap that cuts grease (like dawn) and warm water. It's likely got a build up of the jelly on the surface plus all your skin cells and oils that will naturally come off of you with use.

Invest in some water based lube after the itching stops and continue what you're doing.

Perhaps it's chafing. With it being summer and you going commando there may be some moisture there which can cause irritation if it persists for a long time. During the summer I usually wear breathable underwear because I chafe easily between my thighs and under the testicles. I've found that athletic underwear which are not cotton are the best for me as they don't hold moisture since I sweat a lot and with little exertion I'm breaking a sweat.

I do typically go to bed right after I finish and only give it a quick washing. If I have to use it again I'll be sure to shower afterwards and at some point i'll have to get some new lube. Thank you for the advice!

I do have athletic underwear but I just really enjoy the freedom of being completely loose. However, you may have a point and I might have to pack up the boys for a bit until the weather cools down.
