It's 1:30AM and I'm hungry....

    It's 1:30 in the morning, and I'm hungry. I have food, I'm just not sure what I want. I also am feeling a bit too lazy to cook it, and know I'm better off not eating.

    I have:

    Ramen Noodles
    Corned Beef Hash
    Eggs
    Bread
    Oatmeal (both instant, and Irish Steel Cut)
    Frozen Veggies
    Rice
    Chicken Tenderloins
    Canned Black Beans
    A hunk of Salt Pork
    Left over Rib Tips
    Tilapia
    Edamame
    Various Pastas
    Quinoa
    Polenta
    Canned Sweet Potatoes
    Shrimp/scallops Scampi
    Frozen Hamburger
    Spam


    Please. Save Me. I really want some Hash and eggs, methinks. Definitely a diet killer. Should I make something, or just say screw it, and go to bed?

    Go to bed. It's always best to wake up hungry, and have a good breakfast.
    You're digesting the old stuff, which makes you feel hungry right now.

    What?! No ice cream?! No cookies? No sweets of any kind?


    Go to the nearest grocery store and get yourself a box of brownie mix. Make brownies. Top with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and a squirt of whipped cream.

    I'd drink a glass of water and head off to bed.

    Or make some toast, then head to bed.

    Hmmm. Sweet stuff?

    I got a can of tropical fruit salad, some brown sugar, french toast sticks, maple syrup, some cut pineapple, and some grapes. I have cream cheese fruit dip in the fridge as well.

    See, I'm trying to be on a diet, and lose some weight. That's why I tend to not buy sweets.

    Sucky part is, no 24 hour grocery stores close to me. I'd have to drive over a half hour to get something sweet. Not doin' it.

    If you're on a diet,eat the edamame. Almost no calories in that.

    Peanut butter toast is a nice healthy snack that's also pretty filling, but I agree most with the person that said to down some water and hit the sack. Better off eating in the AM.

    Yes. It's bedtime. No food to be consumed. Just a cup of Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer tea to send me off to La La land. (Insomnia is a different thread entiresly) and something tasty in the AM.

    Although, this was a week ago...you've probably slept quite a bit since then...

    Yup, the danger is you could wake up with your lips glued together. Don't know what the women do for a stress reliever and snack at the same time though.
