I got my Triumph out on the road today! Rode down the coast to Olympos and had fresh sea bass for lunch. The sun was setting behind the mountains just as we got back to town. It was a great day to be alive!

It surely does!

Olympos is a site of an ancient Greek town. Some of the ruins are still there beside the small river that comes from the mountain and crosses the beach. On the side of the mountain, are what are call 'Chimeria'. These are small natural fires that burn eternally, fed by gases leaking from the mountain. Homer wrote about them in the Iliad.You can rent a donkey and ride up to see them. Sorry numbers, the donkeys only take one person at a time!

Yes,, it was an awesome day and just what I needed before a stressful week upcoming.
