Dude, who said anything about blacks? You clearly didn't read the articles. More ignorance. Jump on the bandwagon.

You have to understand that Jjz1109 writes numerous posts to express his 'harrumph!' indignation with 'liberals'. Look back through his posts and the pattern is plainly there. Liberals and what he perceives as liberal are his favorite firehydrant, except where he posts in other forums, where he's generally likeable and interesting. I don't dismiss all of his political posts, but his 'Domine, I'm so indignant' posts are wearisome to me and indicate that he can't often escape his predilections and prejudices. Maybe as a boy he used to listen to right-wing talk radio with grandpa...
I wish him well.

Until obama racism was pretty much never talked about. Now thanks to obama race relations have been setback 50 years. Thank you dear leader.

Racism has been around way before Obama was heard of. Him being Black and talking about it a handful of times shattered your comfort level. In fact, he's done just about nothing to assist the African Americans yet you say he set race relations back 50 years.....because you don't want to hear it. Because it doesn't concern you. Because you don't deal with it. A typical White response to a complex issue. Whether it's Race, Gays, or Women's rights. You, and the ones who share your sentiment say get over it.

I'm pretty sure you've heard some downright racist commentary in your social circle but you'll admit that you have not. I know, I've heard it and brought people to task for their actions. What do you do? Go along to get along or call them on it? Probably the first. I bet you probably said racism doesn't exist anymore because we had a black president. It was always talked about. You just weren't listening.

^ And Obama identifies as 'black' even though he could identify as 'biracial' as many people are doing nowadays. How would he be treated if he did? Would the backlash against him be the same or more?

If Obama would have identified himself as bi racial, he would have caught hell from both sides. The Black community skewered Tiger Woods after his commentary about not being "Black" The One Drop Rule is in full effect on both sides of the coin.

Why did you link an article discussing Ramos claim that whites are becoming a minority in USA in a post about racism? What's the connection between that episode and racism?

Nothing.

If Obama would have identified himself as bi racial, he would have caught hell from both sides. The Black community skewered Tiger Woods after his commentary about not being "Black" The One Drop Rule is in full effect on both sides of the coin.

One day soon someone is going to catch hell because with that segment of the population growing they are not going to feel bound by Jim Crow era rules and the demand they suppress one race for the other. They will no longer have to "pass" for one or the other,

The practice of passing — identifying with and presenting oneself as one race while denying ancestry of another — reached its peak during the Jim Crow era. Needless to say, the notion of having to “pass” as white is outdated and offensive, but as sociologists Nikki Khanna and Cathryn Johnson report in a new study, passing is still alive and well today. It just happens in the other direction.

For their study, Khanna and Johnson interviewed 40 biracial American adults about their racial identity, and were surprised by what they found: most people tended to suppress or reject their white ancestry altogether and claim to be entirely African American. It wasn’t simply about calling oneself black, but also aggressively changing one’s behavior, looks and tastes to appear more “black.”

Passing as Black: How Biracial Americans Choose Identity

LMAO. Yes, just as most here post their indignations with "conservatives." You say that as a bad thing. We all have our political views. What's your point? It's debate, no? Is this intended to be some great "reveal?" I would hope we all come here to read different views, and to broaden our thoughts beyond each of our own pridilecfions and prejudices.

Honestly, if you find some of my posts wearisome, then move on to the next, just as I, and others, do as a course of reading. I didn't realize this site was here to entertain you.

The liberals on this board hate Ben Carson because he is black and off of the Democrat plantation. They think he is a, "mediocre negro," like CNN famously called Steve Harvey. This is how the left brands any black person who does not stand with them.

Liberals are the most intolerant people on the planet. They have zero tolerance for the ideas of others. The only diversity they believe in is superficial.

I don't read either heat street or infowars(I can't believe you even used infowars as a citation). They are both right wing propaganda sites.

You should stick to Huffington Post and Vox, very credible sites.

I bet Alex Jones would get a higher score on the citizenship test than you, a much higher score.

C6kD48fWkAADpj_.jpg

So in February 2016 there were 242,000 jobs added and it was described as,"Disappointing to see so little growth."
In February 2017 there were 235,000 jobs added and it was described as," This is a great report.....our economy is moving in the right direction.

What changed?
The color of the president's skin?

No dimwit, we detest Ben Carson because he says stupid things or do you also believe the pyramids were grain silos and slavery was a dream come true?

You would know about mental illness suffering from it as you do.

You seem fixated on a citizenship test. Did you take one back in the 30s when you came over?

I am waiting of Industrialsize to post his citizenship test score. He said I couldn't pass it. I got 100% and posted the proof. He can't do the same so he won't post his score. He thinks he is a smart guy and likes to talk shit but hates it when anyone gives it back to him. He gets upset and sends your nasty private messages. He is a typical left wing extremist. No matter how hard he tries, he can't pass the test. it is sad.

The Democrat Party is the party of racism.
Today up to 95 percent of African-American voters are aligned with the Democratic Party, and the GOP has largely abandoned its legacy of civil rights activism.

It’s tough to assert being the party of Lincoln while some Republican legislators court Neo-Confederates and other ethnic nationalist movements. They further distance themselves by advocating for voter ID laws, which disenfranchise primarily low-income and legal minority voters. (There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud by illegal or ineligible voters, let alone a single example of when such voting has actually turned an election).

It is similarly difficult for Republicans to trumpet their role in passing Civil Rights Acts while the Republican National Committee is spearheading efforts to dismantle affirmative action (Former GOP chairman Michael Steele struck a good balance on this). And perhaps most importantly, the conservative emphasis on personal responsibility sounds disingenuous to many blacks when Republicans refuse to acknowledge the profound and continuing effects of slavery, Jim Crow and segregation—let alone the persistence of overt racism, institutional and systemic discrimination, and unconscious racial bias.

Why Aren’t There More Black Republicans?
