The intentional misspelling of words and use of text speak is what gets my knickers in a twist. I can forgive the poor grammar and spelling of those for whom English is not a first language.

Like most real women here, I receive to many PM's from men who want to 'fuk' me or git wit me, to believe that it is accidental or a typo.:mad:

Seriously guys, if you want any chance of turning me on, or even having a chat you have to turn on my mind first. So without putting on airs, try to write correctly and intelligently.

Are you serious? My browser has built in spell check. Nice feature and we all know the comp never lies..... hahahah.

And it is called "Spell Check" so the title of this thread has failed.

ps, I often misspell to irritate the smart ppl.

Actually it's either Spell Check or Spell Checker. Where I'm from many people often say Spell Checker. I've heard university professors say "Use your spell checker."

I've also heard other people say "You need to do a spell check before handing this in."

Sure thing-as soon as you take some remedial grammar lessons and learn your punctuation.

Since you opened the closet (or Pandora's box) I offer your errors:

Your greeting post: I have recently found that I've a preference for endowed me and after playing with a fella who was endowed, it has led to several questions that I'm hoping to get answers later. (http://www.lpsg.org/2074069-post1.html)

It may interest you to know that 'fella' is not a word recognized by Spell Check.

Next up: I hope I can ask this question in a way that does not sound BAD or make me look bad !!

... While staying with him, did your partner started out as average / above average and start pumping or doing special exercises...

First, only one exclamation point (!) is proper. Two shows lack of schooling.

Secondly, I'm having difficulty understanding what language skills you use when saying: 'did your partner started out as average...' That should have been: 'did your partner start out as average...'

Moving right along, I encountered the next error on your part: I'm just saying in general that NOBODY should make spelling typos for simple words such as "that" or "the" (http://www.lpsg.org/2423124-post8.html)

You neglected to place any form of punctuation at the end of your statement.

The last one I bothered to look at was this one: I'm friends and neighbors with someone who made a few movies. We have played a couple times. Out of respect and consideration and because I don't kiss and tell, I will not say whom he is. I get a kick out of reading posts about people inquiring his identity, cock size, whether his cock is fully hard or so heavy that it hangs and the movies he's been in. I have time wanted to reply to those posts and say what I know but nobody would believe me.

You say 'I'm friends and neighbors with someone who...' (http://www.lpsg.org/2421029-post109.html)

It is revealed that you are writing of one person which means your sentence should read 'I am a friend and neighbor with/to/of someone...' It should be done in this way, as, you are writing of something singular, not plural (unless you are multiple personalities in which case friends and neighbors might work).

None of us is perfect.

I accept that none of us are perfect. I accept that I am not perfect. I accept that by making this thread that some people will not agree with me or pick on me.

But I'm talking about COMMON words that are spelled wrong. I'm not talking about punctuation or grammar rules. Like come on. Who spells simple grade 1 -2 words wrong.

I know people on here are educated.

There are too many posters here, for whom English is their native language, who still don't seem to know the proper usage of your and you're; to, too and two; there and their, etc. I know technically those would be grammatical errors but they probably do reflect a lack of basic writing skills overall in society. The interesting part is that when I've seen other posters "fix" errors, which could be taken as a bit condescending, or simply point them out, most people, rather then learning from the mistakes, respond with insults and accusations of snobbery.

Everybody makes mistakes now and then, especially in quick posts written in an altered state , but why would somebody belligerently refuse to spell or write correctly after years of making the same mistake over and over again?

I tend to agree with you. I'm constantly surprised by how illiterate many people are. And I'm talking professionals with multiple degrees and/or certifications.

I tend not to make a big deal out of it. You might as well try to hold back the sea with a hairbrush. I treat literacy as a tiebreaker, but that's about all.

A good friend teaches English and German at my high school alma mater. Mind you, this is an all boys Catholic school ...she said her biggest challenge with kids is not the use/abuse of speel chejck that plagued my generation...it is using text and cyber-lingo in 'there' papers. Said she spent the first part of the school year getting them to wrtie out the ENTIRE freakin word...much less spull it korrectle.
