AMEN AMEN AMEN. i had a cocker spaniel and a pekingese growing up,and as fun as they were they were pretty lazy sometimes and pampered (it's in their blood) but last year i adopted a german shephard and she's a whole nother level of fun and you wanna talk about smart?? she has different toys and when i tell her to bring one she understands and differentiates color (for example: bring me the blue toy, bring me the red toy) and she's barely a year old!! plus she's a GREAT watchdog, as much noise as she makes when people come close to my house noone will ever be allowed to break in unheard with this bitch around. she's hilarious too she's ALWAYS humping a velvet bed i got her, but i read that you have to wait til they're 2 to mate them.
