"It's not the size that counts..."
How many times have we heard that?!
This is my first posting on here and I've got one thing that's been bothering me for a long time; why is it that we are always praised for having a large penis, but others are ridiculed for having perfectly normal ones?
The reason I ask this is because even I have experienced something that no one ever seems to mention; the size of womens vaginas. (as opposed to mens!!)
All men are given what they've got and thats it. Surgery can only slightly increase girth and lengthen a flaccid penis, not erect. Pills and patches do not work, despite what the thousands of ads tell us. The fact is you get what you are given and you use it to the best of your ability.
On the flip-side of this is the fact that women can exersize their vaginas and make them tighter for more pleasurable sex. It's very simple, just clench the muscles inside repeatedly for about half an hour a day and within weeks you'll notice a massive difference.
I just find it amazing that no one ever mentions it, especially when it makes sex excellent for both men and women, big and small!

Anyway, rant over. How are you?!

You'll find that on this site--all are welcome and respected. Those who are larger don't brag about it or hold it over others' heads. Those who are more average or admirers enjoy this site just as much. Enjoy your time here.

The answer to your first question is that anyone who ever says "it isnt the size that counts" is whistleing out the hole in their ass.

As far as I can see, human beings tend to have an 'thing' with penis size, you could amost call it an obsession, and admire a large penis more than an average one.

This I think is due to society on the whole placeing such a high value on the size of your dong, so it matters because society dictates it matters. It is a sort of self forfilling importance - society in general thinks it matters, so it does matter.

Objectively speaking, it doesnt matter really, it's sexual technique and emotion that determines how good sex is. But the size of your dong matters because society dicates it matters, so a large penis is what people look for and admire. I mean, you dont have the infamous line "I'll show you mine if you show me your sexual technique" do you?! :p

In answer to your points about Vaginas, I think you should realise that society places just as high a value on big breasts as on large penises, and women, I'm sure, get a much much harder time over the size of their bazookas than a man gets over the size of his pistol.

And about the vagina exercises, I think it's probably because the emphasis in sex tends to be on the male, and it is assumed that the pleasure is down to him. Thats why that is less well known and discussed.

And, welcome to the board! :hi:

Hardly anyone likes exercising any more these days. But seriously, I do my Kegals but not all the time. It's just another one of those things that "I don't have time for."

I personally think that size doesn't matter. I've been with "bigger" guys that don't know how to work it, and I've been pleasantly surprised by "average" guys as well. And then I've also been unpleasantly surprised by a "less than average" guy...but then again I think he was just really drunk. Perhaps size doesn't matter to me b/c I've never had a member of the "really large" crowd, pretty much only varying degrees of average.

Edit: oh yeah, and welcome to the board!

I've mentioned before that my first boyfriend (although sexy as hell) had a really small dick. He turned me on immensely. The biggest thing that bothered me about him wasn't his dick but his Catholic guilt that wouldn't allow him to perform most sex acts. The longest relationship I had was with someone of average size and MAN was that guy amazing! My current guy is very large and I love it. Whenever this question is asked on this board, I always say that size alone doesn't determine a whole lot. For me it's the whole package.

I think some people equate big with pleasurable....For what I have heard from some of my female friends - it is not the case all the time....Guess I am lucky because I am average and I never had a girl say anything negative about my bedroom performance....Then again, I really get into it and want my partner to really enjoy it - so I like to go that extra mile in creativity....

Everyone has made such good posts here, I can only sum it all up for myself.

Size matters because society says it does, Someguy was right about that. Size matters to most guys because society makes them feel that they have to reach a certain measurement to feel acceptable. I wish it were not so, but it's also true for women. We get it for everything, though. We are expected to have large breasts, small firm asses, be six feet tall and size 5, be brainless and eager to fuck absolutley everyone who asks!
I do understand what you guys go through, just remember you are not alone.

I've said this before but it bears repeating- most women are NOT size queens, despite what the internet would have you believe!! I am, so this sounds funny coming from me, but here's what you must remember. Look at how few women are even HERE and how few even of those are size queens. The problem is, we are vocal, outspoken bitches. We are almost the only voices of women you will hear on the internet! MOST women are far more worried about how you'll feel about THEIR bodies than to even worry about the size of your dick. In all likelihood, you'll never meet a size queen in real life.

As far as actual sex goes, almost any woman will tell you a considerate lover (one who makes sure you enjoy the experience) who is creative is much preferable to a big dick. Sex is about vulnerability, both of you revealing yourselves to each other in a personal way to enjoy a feeling of ecstacy together. Make it a good experience and you'll never lack for lovers. You can't make yourself taller, or will your dick to be bigger, so work with what you have and gain confidence in your abilities- confidence is VERY sexy!

Old joke!

THE VENTRILOQUIST

An English ventriloquist visiting Wales walks into a small village and sees a

local sitting on his porch patting his dog.

He figures he'll have some fun, so he says to the Welshman....."Can I talk to

your dog?"

Villager: "The dog doesn't talk, you stupid git"

Ventriloquist: "Hello dog, how's it going mate?

Dog: ( via ventriloquist )"Doin' alright"

Villager: (Look of extreme shock)

Ventriloquist: "Is this villager your owner?" (Pointing at the villager)

Dog: "Yep"

Ventriloquist: "How does he treat you?"

Dog: "Real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food and takes me to

the lake once a week to play"

Villager: (Look of disbelief)

Ventriloquist: "Mind if I talk to your horse?"

Villager: "Uh, the horse doesn't talk either.....I think"

Ventriloquist: "Hey horse, how's it going?"

Horse: "Cool"

Villager: (Absolutely dumfounded)

Ventriloquist: "Is this your owner?" (Pointing to the villager)

Horse: "Yep"

Ventriloquist: "How does he treat you?"

Horse: "Pretty good, thanks for asking. He rides me regularly, brushes me

down often and keeps me in the barn to protect me from the bad weather"

Villager: (Total look of amazement)

Ventriloquist: "Mind if I talk to your sheep?"

Villager: (panic stricken!) "The sheep's a fuckin' LIAR!"

Thanks for responces everyone.
One small comment, I know it doesn't matter in light of the topic of conversation, but I'm not of the small variety - check my pic.
My main point was though, not penis size, but vagina size.

I am well aware of societys' view on the size of penis, I have grown up with it all my life. I am also aware of societys' view on the size of breasts' and the general pursuit of perfection that seems to be heaped on the public on a daily basis. What I find encouraging here is that no one (who commented) seems to care for public opinion. I myself do not 'go for looks'; I would be too bored after a while if I had some barbie doll hanging off my arm just for apperences!

A personality is far more beautiful than a persons looks. You can quote me on that!

I think the exercises you are talking about are known as "Kegel exercises," and they are actually discussed quite often. A Google search brings up 312,000 hits.

Of course, differences in vagina size are far less visible than in penis size, helping explain why the particular topic is not as prevalent.

the reason penis size is such a big deal is because of not only society but because of survival. back when people didnt have shelter, clothing, and food was scarse(spelling) people didnt survive like we do today. plus when having sex women dont just get pregnant on the first time. so the thought was that men with the bigger dicks could reach farther and squirt the seed closer for conception. bigger balls was a symbol for more seed so men with bigger dicks and bigger balls were seen as what was needed for survival.

I see your logic in this statement, however it is known throughout the animal kingdom that it doesn't matter about the size of penis, or anything else for that matter, which male gets a female pregnant - 'sperm competition' takes over when a female has had sex with more than one male in a short space of time - the sperms inside a female literally battle it out to see who's stronger.
Although it is also true that the logic you showed is one that goes back a long way - Again, however it is actually a more modern phenomenon that we have with large penises - as short a time ago as the Victorian age it was seen as 'a good thing' to have a smaller penis; men with large penises were seen as 'brutish' and 'ungentlemanly', very much in the same light as having a tan would indicate to people that you worked outside and was therefore 'a commoner'.

At the same time, obesity was equated with status and wealth, since you could afford to feed yourself well. Being thin showed you were poor. I have a whole array of social theories about beauty and weight over time, too, but that's another discussion...

A "documentary" on Channel 4 over here called "the truth about female desire" recentley intimated that all the usual size comparisons, ie; big feet, hands, nose etc, did not have any relation to the size of penis in an extensive survey they made - however - the length of a mans ring finger has a direct link as to how much testosterone and/or estrogen was produced in the womb when still a foetus. Therefore (to cut a long story) the longer a mans' ring finger, the longer his penis.
Check it out now - the closer the tip of your ring finger is to your middle finger the longer your cock is.
(I wonder if anybodys' is longer than...?)

The "ring finger" theory has been done to death on this forum.

But thank you for bringing up the vagina size issue. Yes, for men the emphasis is on the penis size, and there isn't much that can be done about that. The emphasis is on breasts for women, and those CAN be surgically altered - sometimes to a frightening degree. Most vaginas can stretch to accomodate almost any girth of cock, but it seems to me that the depth to which they can stretch would be limited. I have seem some porn movies that make me wonder if the woman had surgery to remove her cervix and uterus so she could take much greater lengths.

Like one earlier post, I think most of the focus tends to stay with the visible parts - and that translates, too, to other areas as well. I posted some time ago about movie ratings, and what nudity is permitted in each catagory. For instance, in a G-rated film, a man's bare chest is OK, a woman's is not. A somewhat more restricted rating would allow a woman's pubic hair, but not a man's. I don't know for sure, but I think the US rating of "NC-17" would probably allow showing a man with a 4" flaccid penis, but probably not an 8" flaccid one. Odd how those things are perceived.

Back to the vaginal size... Most of the complaints I have heard or read, especially on this forum, is not a "loose" vagina, but occasionally one that is too tight, or more often, not deep enough to accomodate a massively long cock. I'm sure a few are legitimate, but I would venture to guess that most of the claims that "I can only get in about halfway" are fiction.

"Only about halfway" is at best wishful thinking for even the most well-endowed man. Most women, as a general rule, can take upto 10ins before it gets painful.(That is if you are going ALL the way inside. Of course, there is nothingto say you have to go all the way inside) Some sex shops do sell 'Donuts', at varying sizes to wear around the base of your cock to prevent you entering too deep into your loved one. We wouldn't want that now, would we?!

As for the porn/cervix thing you mentioned, I'm pretty much positive in saying that porn stars are not as well hung as they state (not saying they're small, of course not!) But I've seen people like Lex Steele and John Holmes; their "official measurments" don't add up! Lex is supposed to 11". 9" if you're lucky dude! Holmes is supposed to be 13.5". Crap! 9.5" at best, maybe less.

It took several years of marriage before my wife openly admitted that size matters. And by her account, she is not alone. She informed me that, of the few women she has discussed this with, it is a consensus.

It's not that it has to be huge, but it has to be "the right size". It is different for each woman (man) to decide for themselves what that perfect size is, but to say as a blanket statement that it doesn't matter is not correct.

I think the more accurate way to portray it is to state 'size is one of the things that matters'.

For the owner of the penis, he also has to decide if size matters. If for some reason he is not comfortable with his size, then it will matter. If someone else has caused him to be sensative about it, then he needs to work on finding a better measure of his worth.

Much like the size of a woman's breasts, if she feels they need to be changed, then they do. If someone makes her feel that way, then shame on them.

Everyone likes to think that someone/something would be better if they could change "one little thing". Personally, I think the changes need to be how we accept people for who/what/how they are. If we were bigger on the inside, then everyone won't worry so much about how big we are on the outside.

Actually, NC-17's replaced X as the adults only rating. But even then, X only meant not rated, and there were a lot of good X-rated movies like Clockwork Orange.

Oh, and don't forget the rule: These ratings only apply if they're white.
