Thanks everyone.
I've got eight months to get financially stable again. That and make arrangements. Buying clothes, a crib, changing table, etc. etc.

It seems like your life has been so unstable lately. I hope you're able to pull it together in 8 months. Parenting is never easy, but doing so with little preparation is incredibly difficult. I wish you the best.

If nothing else, I'm an expert at snapping things into shape with significant time constraints, especially where other people that I care about are concerned.
And yeh, I'm hoping he inherits my gift for writing. Even more than my own success with self-publishing my series, I think it'd be great if my own son grew up to write a spin-off or alternate perspective of part of it.
