speed: I pretty much doubt that Ja rule is gay though. He has a wife and two children. I know a gay person can do the same with the opposit sex but I just don't think that the rumor is true.

Exactly...its fun!

Anyway....Ani Di Franco???....now im desillusioned, guess i never ducked into that well enough.

Theres also speculation goin on here if Robbie Williams is gay, and if Enrique Iglesias is. I doubt if the Iglesias kid is cause he's been with that Russian tennischick Anna Kournikova....well....she cant play tennis for her life so ill just call her the Russian (hot) chick...

But Robbie Williams has got me confused....he might just be...i think he might be an experimenter.

Iit struck me that anyone seemingly very straight can turn out to be gay...like that guy from Blackstreet, George Michael....ok....in his earlier years it wasnt that obvious i mean :)....and come on....people really danced like that in the 80's  . BUT the gay 'world' if you can say it like that does a bit too eagerly label people as gay, simply cause they hope they are, and lets face it, not even 10% of the people are.

My two cents

Okay, wait .. I'm trying to picture George Michael as "seemingly very straight". Ahem. Nope, sorry ... he seemed oh so gay as far back as Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go!

Longhornjok: Javierdude, people see what they want to see. My grandmother actually told me she (and several of her friends) were shocked after his death to learn that LIBERACE was gay!!! Bouffant hair, big gawdy rings on every finger, sequined capes, and that voice, and they were totally surprised by this news. You tell me. :D

7x6andchg: Wake me up before you go go - the video alone:

1. short shorts...
2. lots of rubbing of bodies
3. glow in the dark SOCKS!

.....and I pity the women who found that attractive 20 years ago...he was never saving himself for his female fans. ;D

throb919: The curators at the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas don't seem to think Liberace was gay either; they're very reverential about his memory. (It is the campiest place in the world.) There's even a looped video playing that has Liberace saying in an interview "I guess I never married because I was the product of divorce." Uh-huh...yeah... that's it!

AnonyMs, one of the best lines ever about Tom Cruise being gay or not was Roseanne's: "Like there wouldn't be some queen somewhere telling the whole world 'I sucked Tom Cruise's dick'!"

(Javierdude, you enliven every thread you participate in. You too, Whopper. And you, sammygirly! Sorry...I was overcome with the feeling to join hands and sing "Kumbaya"...! I love you guys.)

Well their reverential treatment of Liberace aside...I think most everyone knows it was different in those times - I mean - even those of us as young as me (ahem) can remember the shock on our parents and grandparents faces when Rock Hudson was found to have AIDS...

Not mine. I remember my Dad saying, "I knew it! He and Doris Day weren't lovers ... they were girlfriends!" This preceded his oft-repeated speculations about Jim Nabors and Lyle Wagner. I kept my mouth shut! ;D

DJM277: the rumors and i stress the word RUMORS I have heard was that Vin disil is often seen at the gay clubs in NYC. Ricky Martin not only is supposenly a permanent fixture in the ones in Miami but is said to have a long term partner. Ejiah and that Spacey guy.

Has anyone heard anything on Chris Meloni? and before you answer yes I know he's married agian that does not mean anything at all. Business marriages are arranged all the time in hollywood.

Some of these guys might not even be gay they might jus be bi.

After his portrayal of the gay character Chris Keller on Oz, Chris said this in an interview:

"I didn't accept the rôle of Keller because of or in spite of his homosexuality; I played him because he's an interesting character. You love him and you hate him. Even after he goes out on a limb to redeem himself he does something to fuck it all up again. His sexuality was simply necessary for his relationship with Beecher. Their dependence on each other was the focus, not the sex. I don't have any qualms about playing gay characters even though I'm straight. Gay is just another way to be, and nothing's wrong with it. What I don't want to play is a boring character."

A healthy attitude in my opinion.

Three words for you, my friend:

DMW - a very healthy attitude for an actor to have.
