Flashy, I can't get any of those links to work. I tried repeatedly on all of them. Can get the sound but no picture. Before it starts I get a quick error message on the bottom of the screen about a "codec error". No idea what to do to fix that.
Any other way to view these?

You will need to use Realplayer and not Windows Media Player. You might also need the Divx codec installed on your system. Go to DivX Video Player - DivX Video Codec - DivX Converter
and you shouldn't have any problems after you install the free divx player, it contains the codecs you will need before your media player can figure out which codecs it needs to update.
Maybe Flashy will have something more helpful to say, but for right now, I can tell you that the problem is that your computer lacks certain bits of software called codecs. Codecs are programs that your video player needs in order to interpret (specifically, to decompress) the data in certain files. I have never learned of an efficient way to find out exactly which codecs my computer needs: I have had to do it by trial and error, downloading codecs, installing them in my computer, then seeing what effect they have. You can either do what I did, which is to do a search for "video codecs" (or "MPEG codecs" or whatever the appropriate term for the file type that you are trying to play is) and then just experimenting, or wait until someone who knows more about this business than I do posts some more specific advice.
Added in editing: Tripod posted while I was writing the post above. I second what he says EXCEPT the statement that you need to use RealPlayer instead of Windows Media Player. I have never been able to play any videos with RealPlayer that I could not equally well play on the Windows program: I am pretty sure that the codecs will work with whatever video player you use.

I can keep a person alive but I can't do much more than look up meds on the hospitals pharmacy data base, go to some med sites, and send an email. I really can't do much more than that and browse the web. Though I did once figure out, with help, how to play solitaire on the computer one day when it was slow on the floor. Thank you again.
