I've read where climaxing frequently has been shown to greatly reduce prostate cancer. Certainly I have most of my life up till becoming a senior. I now am only able to get off about 3 times a week. I wonder if it is taken as a whole over your lifetime or if you have to keep it up daily when you are older to stave off prostate cancer. Certainly I have done it for other reasons as well:) Does anyone know?

There are studies recently completed by two Australian universities showing that the more and the oftener a young man has jacked off, the less likely he is to suffer from prostate issues in later life. You need to start on or before puberty and ejaculate 3 times/day. This is surely not too difficult to do.

I have never heard about these strict restrictions on how to reduce the chance of prostate cancer, and they simply don't make sense.

First it is important to consider that there is correlation with frequent ejaculation with a reduced risk of prostate cancer, but not necessarily causation. The studies that have been completed consider frequent ejaculation to be about 30 times in a month, or roughly once a day. But the studies have not concluded whether ejaculating more often reduced the chance of prostate cancer, or if men who are less likely to get prostate cancer just happen to ejaculate more often.

I'm not a fan of WebMD, but take a look at this:

Masturbation and Prostate Cancer Risk

The main take away from this article is that they don't really know.

Your body normally tells you what you need to do or what you should stop doing. If you feel like having an orgasm then you should probably do that, if you are indifferent to it then you probably don't need to force yourself.

Then again, I don't think anybody gets diagnosed with prostate cancer and starts regretting the orgasms that they had.

I have to watch. I started jacking off more and my drive started to tank on me. Started to make me worry about myself. Lol

I asked a urologist about this supposed benefit of masturbation for prostate health and he simply replied, "No man, masturbating and ejaculating just feels good, that's the benefit."
Stress reliever. It has all kinds of mental pluses.

Not sure I personally trust anything urologists have to say. Almost like saying exercising your brain doesn’t have benefits to your brain.

I believe it's necessary to routinely cum to maintain a healthy prostate. I have a close friend my age who swore off masturbation due to his religious beliefs. For years he no longer had a lady in his life following a bitter divorce and it seems rarely engaged in other forms of sex since his divorce. At age 50 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and it was advanced to the point his entire prostate had to be removed. That was six years ago. While there is no way to prove not cumming for years resulted in his cancer, I do have my suspicions. The release of stress that cumming can provide to me is another reason to routinely cum even if not cumming is not directly related to prostate health. Stress can lead to all sorts of physical ailments. I say cum and cum often!
