I have Mullvad and have tried it with and without. It's the same. Speeds have nothing to do with a VPN. Most users of Coomer/Kemono report slow speeds and timing out. It's a known issue having to do with Cloudflare, bandwidth issues, and data hoarders using scrapers to download entire profiles of material.

No, it doesn't suck for me. It sucks for most people, so you having no issues is an anomaly. You also thought DMCA was a thing on Coomer, so don't get too smug.
