Was sitting here on my computer bloggin, surfin, and watching James Bond marathon movies on Encore (on what will be my last night of vacation and last chance to stay up late - for awhile at least). I'm watching "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (which by the way is one of my favorite bond films even though the actor Lazenby only played Bond once. People railed againt him but I thought him a pretty fair Bond - better than Roger Moore at any rate)

Anyway, the thread is of favorite bond "girls" a msn.com feature of not too long ago, only they didn't mention many of mine. Here they are in no particular order:

Dianna Rigg "Her Majesty's Service" (of course, always was a fine looking woman since the Avengers and fittingly played the only woman Bond actuallly married).

Gloria Hendry (Doll-faced tight bodied Gloria played Rosie Carver and appeared in several "blaxploitation" era films before doing "Live and Let Die").

Akiko Wakabayashi as Aki in "You Only Live Twice" (omg!)

Denise Richards as Christmas Jones "The World is Not Enough" ("And I thought Christmas comes only once a year.")

Michelle Yeoh as Wai Lin in "Tomorrow Never Dies"

Honor Blackman was gorgeous as Pussy Galore and probably the only one of the "girls" to be played as his equal if not superior. You just got the impression that she had the upper hand.

Barbara Bach in The Spy Who Loved Me. She has fantastic cheek bones!

Besides Pussy Galore some of the other great names were Plenty O'Toole (Lana Wood - Diamonds are forever), Tiffany Case (Jill St John - Diamonds are forever), Miss Mary Goodnight (Britt Eckland - The man with the golden gun), Dr. Holly Goodhead (Lois Chiles - Moonraker), Octopussy (Maud Adams - Octopussy), Dr Molly Warmflash (Serena Scott - The World Is not Enough).

I've always loved Bond movies, even as a little girl. The combination of sexy super agent (except for the Roger Moore years) and gorgeous girls is something I never seem to tire of.

I disagree. Dianna Rigg (Ms. Bond) had her own fight sequence in "M.S.S" during which Bond theme music was played and she faired quiet well, thanky m'am. She certainly wasn't a wimp. Akiko W. was a Japanese agent in "Y.O.L.T", rescuing 007 from a volley of gunfire, Denise R. (Christmas) saved his hide too in "T.W.I.N.E", and both Michelle Y. (Wai Lin) and Halle Berry (Jinx) were more than a force to be reckoned with.

Beautiful/strong women always a turn on for me.

Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier in License to Kill.

That sparkly black gown she wears during the casino scene is beautiful...the way she fills it out is simply mesmerising.

Ursula Andress is the most iconic Bond Girl ever !
I liked Jane Seymour as Solitaire in "Live And Let Die" though ....

Is it just me or wasn't there a Tranny in those Bond films? Also Maud Adams is the only bond girl to appear in more than one Bond movie. One of them is Octopussy, the other? Can you name it?

Caroline Cossey who modelled under the name of "Tula" was a Bond Girl in "For Your Eyes Only".
She was a post-operative transsexual who appeared in Playboy and still works as a model .
Wasn't Maud Adams in "Man With The Golden Gun" too ?
Ironically, most Bond Girls say the films hindered their careers ....
