Was it not Hallam Foe. Great Movie. And Undertow and Chumscrubber was great too. His work on Nicholas Nickleby was excellant. I haven't seen Defiance yet I been trying to see all his movies since I recently got a copy of Billy Elliot and rewatched it. Now I to am in love with Jamie Bell. He might not be a hunk or a beauty but he is a beautiful person.

the movie and the book it is based on were both called "Hallam Foe " it was retitled for the US as "Mr Foe" by the american distibutors for fear the audiences wouldnt be able to understand the title and not go to see it.

its the same logic that sadly saw the first harry potter movie get retitled there as "the sorcerers stone " because market research showed many americans didnt know what a "philosophers stone " stone was fortunatly the rest of the world did and we saw it under its correct title of "Harry potter and the philosophers stone"
