I was reading just today about how selling an image and selling it's copyright are two different things. You can sell an image but retain it's copyright.

I verified 2257 data for a company that I worked for, and there was a re-sale market for that content to other sites, and companies or individuals that use them for blogs, advertising, etc.

I mean hundreds of pictures of the same model, and, for some, there is the option for private photo sessions exclusively for certain clients--that's how some adult sites or adult entertainment companies create "character" content.

However, even though you sell the right to use content to someone, it does not mean that there isn't restrictions on the use (meaning most content companies restrict the way images can be used).

Also, usually, or, ime, always, you have to license the content to a specific site. Meaning, you purchase and have the right to use at certain URLs, but, there's usually a limit of, like 3 or so, and, again, have to obey the usage restrictions.

Just one innocent question. If you sold your pics on naughtybids.com, weren't some of them nudes to begin with? If they were just regular old pictures like you posted, they wouldn't be naughty. Just asking.

Don't you guys see through jason's THOUSANDS of posts of celebrities and all those images he posted on his blog..how he is just a PIC HOUND??? he goes to various sites, steals photos, posts them.

He bought Bobby's pics. Bobby thought he was just an admirer someone who just happened to love his pics. Jason never told Bobby his real intentions of wanting those pics so he can use them to portray himself. Funny thing is, up until just last week, "Jason" has been badgering Bobby to send him pics of his family during Christmas. Of course he wants these photos...so he can post them up and claim that it's his merry rich little family in sunny Beverly Hills celebrating the holidays with his globetrotting grandmother, actress mother, attorny uncle AND boyfriend and Apollo the cat who wears pearls. how sad to even steal photos of a cat. and how sad that, after you initally did buy photos from Bobby, he befriended you and sent pics regularily because he thought you really wanted to be a friend and liked him. Shame on you.

I am the guy in the photos from the user known as JasonDawgXXX. Yup thats right - I had someone track me down today anonymously to let me know that this guy JasonDawgXXX was using photos of me and posing as a 24 year old from Cali.

Actually I am the REAL guy in the pics and my name is not Jason - its Bobby. And no I dont live in California - I live in Northern Virginia.

So if you liked the pics over the past year, then you now have the REAL guy behind the pics. AND WTF - I read his whole made up BS story about a BF named Matt and a cat and being rich etc etc - none of it is true.

I do actually have a BF but his name is Jeff - and we have a DOG and we aint rich, but we do ok.

How did this fake JasonDawgXXX get my pics??? I sold them to him over the past year on a website called naughtybids. He has purchased my pics from me and photoshopped them - anyways, I am so pissed off right now that I prolly dont have anything else to say for tonite.....

I find it interesting that TheREALjdawg and you are both very familiar with this site. I also find it odd that TheREALjdawg is posting on the other site. It takes most newbies months to find out about that site's existence... if they find out at all.

I'm not defending Jason for having a fake gallery--and I'm certainly not going to kick anyone when they are down. I'm just saying that you two don't seem any more real.

Maybe TheREALjdawg can post a verification photo in his gallery since the existing blurry one isn't valid. I somehow doubt it will happen.
