There is story about these photos that were taken by Andy Warhol when he and Basquiat were staying at a hotel in Melan Italy, the story goes that Warhol had to go to Basquiat's hotel room to wake him from a sleep because they had a flight to catch and Warhol being Warhol, he had his camera with him and took pictures of his naked friend as he woke up and as Warhol would later say in his diary that when he woke him up he had a raging hardon. These photos are just 2 of many the artist took of his young friend that morning. This story is told in the new documentary on Netflix called The Andy Warhol Diaries, its pretty good with its share of male nudity.

I'm grateful that we have this photos to support his dairies. Otherwise it would be very frustrating to heat about the "raging hard on " and not being able to see it!
