Lately I’ve been reading about the prevalence of drug addiction among gay men. Usually it seems to be tina, G or cocaine. A lot of people seem to get the false impression that the latter two aren’t that dangerous, but they are, especially G. I’ve read about many gay men accidentally overdosing on G. That’s why I was curious what he was addicted to. As somebody who also struggles with depression and other mental health issues but without his looks, he seemed to have everything going for him, including lots of friends, sex, partying, travel and a nice lifestyle. It’s really too bad that he was depressed despite all of that.

See... The drugs here have no role. It wasn't G either. I'm not sure he had an addiction per se, he was using as much as any other gay man. When you have a deep depression drugs are an escape from a reality you a very unhappy with. In our eyes he had everything, but it wasn't like that for him sadly.
Social media, the pressure of being as successful as the other instagays, rich like the other instagays (as obviously no one advertises that their fab houses and trips are paid by sugar daddies and they don't have a penny to their names), the pressure to be young, to be fit, to be perfect, to be woke, to be politically correct, to not show any signs of weakness ever, to be always on some amazing adventure... or you get cut out... that's what brings those guys "with everything" to jump down their buildings.
Social media will make more deaths in our community than any virus out there...
