will somebody help me out here...?
so the latest in the crossfire of #Metoo news is Jeffrey Epstein who was rubbing shoulders with liberal elites like the Clintons as well as Hollywood elite. There are pictures of this guy with Clinton AND Trump. His top female employee who apparently set up these liaisons with young girls can be seen in pictures front row at Chelsea Clinton's wedding.
Now women are coming out saying they were sex slaves and sexually assaulted. my question is, how can you be paid, but also be a slave and assaulted? these women were CERTAINLY getting paid by this billionaire for their time and attention. So were they victims if they're getting paid to do this? when they come out to the media as being victimized, are they also sharing how much money they were paid to attend this guy's private resort? Is the media also interviewing these girls' parents who let them go off for a week at some billionaire's exotic island with Bill Clinton and other elites?
Further, there are MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY women whose sole existence and goal is to become trophy wives, gold diggers, landing and becoming sugar babies to millionaires, high paid pro athletes, (powerful) men with deep pockets so they can live a life of luxury. Is the media covering that story? Are these women victims or entrepreneurs?
So is CNN going to treat Epstein with equal scorn and scrutiny to the Clinton's affiliation as they are with Trump? Is Rachel Maddow going to break down in tears on air covering the Clinton's involvement with this guy? Is Don Lemon going to even mention this guy had ties to Clinton? Or are they going to use this as another political missle to take down Trump?
I do hope this gives the media a complete existential breakdown as they are forced to examine themselves with the same equal scrutiny that they cast on republican sides -- although i doubt they will.
All i'm saying is. There is a creepy billionaire who paid young girls to have sex apparently. He had both ties to Democrats and Republicans. Add to that, #metoo, where some women prior would have LOVED to spend a weekend on an island with Billionaires and the world's most powerful men, however.... now it's fashionable to be a victim. All i'm asking for is equal coverage of the truth and the reality for what it is.
you know? or am i misreading all of this?
