One problem I always have when doing Jelqs is that I get erect too fast and it hampers my workout. Any suggestions?
I dry jelq - erect, using a U grip. You have to be very careful doing this because blood spotting can be a problem especially without a warm up.
You don't need to do it for as long and it can be mixed with erect kegels and squeezes, you can feel the stretching pain so it really feels like a hard workout even after only 5 minutes.
These are advanced high pressure exercises so perform with care!

yeah take breaks.... jerking off before the exercise is a good idea, after all even if you'll wait to jerk off after your done it still harms your gains (you gotta wait 10 hours to jerk off if you want gains)
I'm amazed I jerq without any problems... I even watch porn while jelqing!

You should never jerk-off after jelqing its counter productive. And with dedication you should get used too jelqing and not always get as hard. Hmm watching porn during jelqing... i don't know think I would get hard quick too ;)

what do you guys mean ? you can't have an orgasm after an hour or so of jelging? and you have to wait 10 hours .what if after one hour of jelging yo udecide to masterbate is that bad?

It's like this... jel;qing is like a more complex way of stretching... you first warm up to let the skin stretch a lot better...
Anyhow after it's so stretched it should get some time to cool down and this way let the size you "stretched" turn from temporary into permanent... of course it's a puny gain, but if you do it on a routine constantly then you get gains.

Jerking off or having sex in a time of 10 hours after jelq is not adviced, since it's about moving the penis back and forth... this way the gains minimize and all your hard work goes for nothing, so you better hold yourself back!

Yeah I try to do it in the morning before I go to worth this way I have the whole 8-10hr day so then i'm set for the evening :)

Ok, I've seen a lot of posts dealing w/ Jelqing and I read about it years ago, but just chalked it up to a gimmick. Does it really work?! What is/are the technique(s)? Is there an instructional site? Who's had real, honest gains? How much?

The theory about the so-called "5 hour rule" is that ejaculation either adds unnecessary stress to the penile tissue to hamper recovery, or that it causes a precipitous decline in your testosterone levels, a hormone important in the recovery process. I haven't seen scientific evidence confirming or denying either angle.

Definitely works.I was getting gains with the vac pump;but,I have gained faster with jelq and then pumping.
The suggestions I have seen on here,will help my methods.

You can prove or disprove the fact of jelqing by just setting aside 2 or so months and just try it dedicatedly for 3-4x a week and then report back and tell us what happened. Bet ya you gain something :)

Phew, I&#8217;ve never read so much crap about jelquing and sex, in all my life! Where do you get your evidence and information from? What happens if you come while you&#8217;re jelquing, when all the movement is in one direction - riddle me that on Batman?

Jelquing and stretching, so we are lead to believe, create micro tears in the ligaments. For optimum gain/results, the &#8220;ligs&#8221; should then be kept extended for a period of time while healing takes place. However, I can&#8217;t see, say after a two hour session of stretching and jelquing and tearing ligs, that they&#8217;re going to completely heal in the short space of time it takes in having an orgasm, in one way or another.

IMHO, PE, in all it&#8217;s forms, is a very personal thing; what works for one doesn&#8217;t necessarily work (or maybe in quite the same way) as it does for another. Likewise time scales. Research, and you&#8217;ll find we&#8217;re all different. what I will say applies to all is consistency; I don&#8217;t mean x times a week, I mean hours in a day. the more you do the better the results. If you research the techniques pioneered in plastic surgery, where balloon implants are placed under good skin tissues adjacent to wounds on burns patients; the balloon is inflated gradually over a period of time till enough skin has been stretched to cover the wound, you will understand better what I mean. It&#8217;s the same theory use in restoring the foreskin. Others who advocate the use of A.D.S., are applying the same theory too; to the ligs - it&#8217;s a consistent stretch.

I keep saying it, but I think Thunders Place is the best for info on PE. There&#8217;s a lot of reading and a lot of argument, but you get a better understanding of the way things are and what may or may not apply to you.

Ok, so this is what I do, and it might not work well for you (hell, sometimes it doesn't for me :rolleyes:), learn and adapt, right?

When you start to get too hard, actually scratch that, before you start to get too hard (ummm, if you see what I'm trying to get at :tongue-tied:) stop jelqing. I know it's sooo tempting to carry on untill you have to stop, but I think that really is the best thing to do, even if it means doing less than 10 jelqs before you take a (hopefully) short break.

The other technique I find more useful is to do visulisation exercises revolving around reducing the amount of blood in the penis. Like being in a cold place or, and I know this sounds wierd, imagine a tap at the base of you cock, turn the tap on & uh 'watch' the blood flow out. For me that works more often than not, at a guess 7 or 8/10.

One last thing Do you know any basic breathing exercises? I try to control my breathing more and, uh just try and calm down & relax.

Like jelqing itself I think these things take time, stick with 'em for a while & I think they'll start to help.
