First Post here - a bit of a lurker. I stumbled on this board a few months back while researching PE.
I was a skeptic about PE and didn't want to risk damaging my unit. Was happy enough with my size - a bit better than average and always served me well with no complaints or lost opportunity that I am aware of.
I started a serious effort at jelqing and daily manual stretchs in January. And it does seem to work. Not dramatic, but quite noticable thus far.
Erect measurements - I went from a tad over 6" to 6.5" erect length (no big deal, but something) It is the girth that has me smiling though! I have added shoulders to my cock, I am happy to say. It has really filled out. At my widest I was about 5.25" to start and am now a very solid 5.75" throughout my length. What is really remarkable is the base of my cock has increased to fully 7". A very nice taper that is getting some moans of approval when I do drive it to the hilt.
But my reasons for starting this routine were more about flaccid size. I am a grower and was quite dissatisfied with my flaccid appearance. I was too embarassed to ever measure my flaccid cock. If I had to guess I would say no more than 3"... The most satisfying gain I have had is in my flaccid size. More blood seems to be retained and my soft cock feels more firm throughout. I now have a full 5" in length and 4.5" girth flaccid. I can hardly believe it when I look in the mirror... I have to grab an empty toilet paper roll and do the test ever time I take a leak... and then wipe the smile off my face. I must say the the gains have made me a bit penis obsessed now.
Anyway, I plan to continue the routine I am using and see how it goes. More girth is always good. While more length would be entertaining and visually impressive, I don't recall a single woman that I didn't bottom out with my modest length. I imagine you longer guys have to be quite careful with the extra length, unless you are pounding a size queen.
