And this effects us how ????

Sorry, but this death is no more tragic than any other. Her daughter just happens to be a millionaire.

The money comment doesn’t jive here as empathy doesn’t have a dollar amount on it as far as I know and it’s not more tragic when you know and like someone as opposed to another that you do not know and/or do not like? Am I supposed to have the same feeling for an innocent like her mother getting gunned down as I do the radical Muslim mama that supports her sons strapping on bomb belts and splattering Jews all over the place just because they are Jews getting gunned down?

The last thing I read said that Jennifer's sister (Julia) went to work early on Friday and hadn't been seen since and her estranged husband was being questioned in connection with the double homicide of her mother and brother as well as the kidnapping of the child (who, as it turns out, is his stepson and not his son). The estranged husband is still being questioned about the murders and Julia has now turned up (she was probably around all along but the press didn't know where).

Over the weekend, Jennifer offered $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew and the FBI were brought in to try to find the little boy (because it was thought he had been taken out of state). But it looks as though the police may have found him...and it's not a happy ending. :frown1:
Police hunting nephew of Jennifer Hudson find child's body in white SUV

Police hunting for Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew have found a body of a young boy.A body was found in a white SUV at 8am this morning on Chicago's West Side - 13 miles away from the Hudson family home.
The discovery follows an appeal by the actress for her seven-year-old nephew Julian King after she put up a $100,000 reward for his safe return.

Hudson's seven-year-old nephew has been missing since the bodies of her mother and brother were found in the family's Chicago home on Friday afternoon.
Miss Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and 29-year-old brother Jason Hudson were both killed by firearms.
William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson's sister Julia is currently in police custody being questioned over the murders. He has not been charged.
Police were searching for Jason Hudson's white Chevrolet Suburban, which went missing from the house following the double murder.

In a family photo taken last year, the 27-year-old estranged husband of Hudson's older sister Julia happily poses with the actress and her Oscar.
The police said they consider Balfour to be a 'person of interest' in the case but he had not been charged.
The FBI has been brought in to help try to find Julian, who has been described as an 'easy-going', studious boy.

Presidential candidate Barack Obama, who lives just a few miles away from the Hudson home, sent his condolences to the singer/actress.
He said: 'Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
'We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew.'

Hudson was personally chosen by Obama to sing the national anthem at the Democratic National Convention in August and described it as one of the 'greatest moments' in her career.
Miss Hudson, who won an Academy Award for best supporting actress in 2007 for her role in Dreamgirls, was in Chicago with her family over the weekend.
In a MySpace blog entry on Sunday, Miss Hudson, who also appeared in the Sex and the City film, said she was grateful for community support and posted a picture of her sister's son. 'Thank you all for your prayers and your calls.
'Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely.

'If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately ... Once again thank you all for being there for us through this tough time.'

Neighbours said they heard gunshots at 9am on Friday morning, but the bodies weren't discovered by Julia Hudson until about 3pm. She found her mother's body on the living room floor with a bullet in the head.
Police then discovered Jason Hudson dead in a bedroom. He had been shot in the chest and appeared to have put up a fight. Officers say the case is 'domestic related', but have yet to establish a motive for the killings.
The search for Julian has so far focused 'in the immediate vicinity' of the family's home in the South Side of the city, said Chicago police spokesman Dan O'Brien.
But the FBI have been called in as police believe the boy may have been taken out of the state. They suspected the schoolboy had been abducted by his stepfather, but Balfour was alone when he was caught several hours after the bodies were discovered.

Balfour, 27, spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, hijacking a car and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was released on parole two years ago.
During a public plea for the boy's return, Julia Hudson described her son as a smart, sensitive and easy-going child.

'He's not your typical seven-year-old,' she told a crowd at the family's Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church. She was joined by the boy's father, Greg King.
Still hoping to find her son alive, Julia added: 'Let my baby go.'
She said she last saw her son on Thursday night after they came back from celebrating her 31st birthday.

She added that she was confident her son was still alive and that she was praying for his return.
Hudson leaped to fame in 2004 when she was a contestant on American Idol.
She went on to win an Oscar last year for her portrayal of Effie White alongside Beyonce Knowles and Jamie Foxx in Dreamgirls.
This year, she returned to the big screen playing Carrie Bradshaw's assistant Louise in the Sex And The City movie.
Her debut album Jennifer was released last month and her single Spotlight is currently No.13 in the UK charts.
