Guys, anyone else have a problem with taking A LOT longer to masturbate while watching porn as compared to not looking at anything? It's always been that way with me. Back in the days of VHS, I'd wind up with my entire collection spread out in front of the TV/VCR.

I still do this now, sometimes can go for hours.....

Honestly, why not just masturbate without porn then?

If you are focused on the porn, you are putting your own pleasure in the backseat by focusing on what the porn stars are doing, when are they going to get off, etc etc.

If you aren't focused on porn, your sensations and pleasure are front and center. Makes for a lot more intense masturbation experience IMHO.

(that being said, jerking off with porn is fun, but without it can be way more fun)

I'm with you on this one.
I'd describe myself as a channel hopper when it comes to porn, always looking out for the next best link. I often worry my ISP will phone or write and complain I'm abusing their fair use policy! This can mean a session easily goes beyond an hour.

Guilty as charged. However, I don't think it's as much of a bad thing; the sex I've been having for the past few years has been... well, disappointing, and it's nice, when I can get around to it, to just throughly enjoy the occasion and get exactly what I want out of a sexual experience. Plus, after I've been at it for a couple hours, my cumshots are nothing short of huge. I think enjoyable and frustrating is about the right description - but it is a choice. Visual stimulation affects us all differently, but it is stimulation, nevertheless. Visual stimulation combined with arousal, being erect and excited - it can naturally motivate a desire for more stimulation, more time in the Porn Zone. Unlike say having another piece of chocolate, or another potato chip, or flipping another page in a porn mag, the Internet offers unlimited images and hours of videos, and your eyes can continue to take in those images for hours upon hours upon hours. So there's a lack of a limiting factor.

As long as you're not trying to keep your dick hard for like 8 hours straight, and you're not letting it interfere with enjoying other aspects of life, it's fine. Although I do suggest you create a tumblr or other site so we can enjoy the results of your long porn discovery expeditions.
