As a straight guy, I’m curious to see how jerking off differs between gay men and straight men.
I think all men love and enjoy their penis the same way because of the pleasure they give, but seeing as gay men are attracted to men, I would think their sessions would be maybe more intense... am I wrong here? What’s the difference? I’d love to hear from both gay and straight, even bi.

Good question!

Bi guy here, I can only speak for myself, eh duh!, I enjoy not only with my penis, involving my whole body and mind. Ball play, anal play, caressing my body with my hands. Fantasizing with both sexes, with or without porn, cam buddies or just waking up and rubbing one out, before sleep or just out of boredom.

I think you'll find there is considerable variation on this question because of a diversity of dispositions in several background areas, including:

1) How much the guy is even into penis. Being a gay male means your sexual attractions are honed in on other males, and while for many that means especially being into dick, a considerable minority aren't especially interested penis.

2) How much one responds to parts as opposed to the whole. If one's attractions cover more a whole person rather than isolated parts, having oneself a penis may not make a big difference.

3) How consequential the self-vs-other distinction is to one's sexual arousal. I think some guys respond to the thought of e.g. "this is another guys dick I'm holding" more strongly than others. So if this distinction is really sharp in one's mind, one may not have an especially strong reaction to one's own penis. The flipside of this is that some guys might find the notion of being turned on by their own bodies a bit strange.

4) Type. Simply put: many gay guys are not their own type, and so simply being homosexual is of little consequence. A gay man won't have a positive response to just any other guy. If one is not one's own type, there may be no additional arousal in masturbation compared to a straight guy, who is likewise not his own type.

One thing I have noticed is that if you talk to a gay guy about j/o he'll actually talk about j/o. Talk to a straight guy about j/o and he'll talk about women.

But I don't think that was the question you asked which seemed more about whether gay guys are turned on by themselves and whether that adds to the session which takes me right back to high school when someone proposed that masturbation was inherently gay because it was your own male hand on your own male cock. Seriously, though, I'm bi and I don't spend the whole session being aroused by my own cock or my own body. I quite like seeing my cock get hard at the start, and I like watching myself cum at the end, but in between I'm often in a fantasy or watching porn. I do sometimes stimulate other parts of my body with my other hand, though.

I relate and agree to this.

I am a gay man and feel like I’m constantly horny. I jerk off usually once or twice a day. I use cock rings a lot. They make your hard on last and intensify your orgasm a lot.

I also have a couple of prostate massagers that will seriously make you have the most intense orgasm ever. I have straight friends that use them too so it’s not just a “gay thing” to use a toy in your ass. It feels AMAZING.

I’m not sure if straight guys edge when they jack off but that will make the whole experience last much longer and end up with a bigger load that shoots further too.
