I have a below average libido and my partner has a slighly above average libido, so it's not relevant for me but predominantly him. Spontaneous masturbation (on his part) or sex is quite common. Him masturbating at night before sleep when I'm around is very common. This is not at all taboo, though it's true that a certain amount of the time if I'm tired enough it can be a little irritating.
