Jesus reschedules - Whew!

I've been in a funk because I was not lifted up to meet Jesus in the skies last month. Obviously I (and everyone else I know) had been left behind.
Much to my relief I'm now hearing that the charlatan who made the previous declaration is saying Jesus has rescheduled for later this Fall.
Whew!!

If you are referring to Harold Camping, I have a feeling he will be
rescheduling then.

To be fair, I don't recall the J man ever doing an Arnie and promising a sequel. I mean, the first visit didn't end that well on a personal level. Note to self, must revisit this place. I don't think so :wink:.

Same thing would happen today, too. He would make a beeline for a gay bar or a crack house or wherever people are disenfranchised. Then he would be rounded up by the police in a state where fundamentalist Christians have voted in public officials who are "tough on crime".

Or he will be rounded up because he was homeless and was talking on the street about how if people followed him, sons would be against fathers and daughters against mothers (Luke 12:13). They would get him on some charge related to undermining "family values".
