I believe she is making reference to a case that happened in the states at a Wal Mart I believe but don’t quote me on that. It was a big box chain store though. Where an older man who checked every box as a man that is not transitioning or has started the process. Still in man’s clothes man’s traditional haircut the full man works literally followed an 8 year old girl into the woman’s bathroom. The father who was waiting outside saw the man follow his daughter and flipped his shit, when in and dragged the guy out and called the police on him as a sex offender. When the cops showed up he told the police “it’s ok I’m transgendered”. and tried to use it as a defense to avoid legal prosecution as a child sex offender.

I was hoping links to her direct twitter posts so I could read her actual words. I read the article but it had no links to her actual twitter posts. It was full with the authors bias and opinions and that author quoted and interviewed people matching that opinion. I was just hoping for the actual post made by JK herself.

the gist of the article by someone else not JK is because she was upset about a commercial adverts choice of words, and then was making a play on it by saying hey remember when we just called them this. Poking fun or making light at how identity and gender politics have exploded. And the grand debates between sex and gender when sex was something you did to have fun or to procreate the species and gender was one of two states based on actual biology, those pesky X and Y chromosomes you know. Then a whole section of a larger community took it high and to the right and made it explode in this she hates trans and it spiraled out of control into what it has become. Come on people! All this over dumb shit comment about a comercial! Really!? the masses really don’t have anything better to do than generate all this hate and discontent over a comment about a comercial. That blows my mind. Maybe I’m the only one in the entire world that honestly thinks that I have way too much shit going on in my day to day world to be worked up over what a famous person says about a comercial. Hell I never even got worked up about the short lived Gelette commercials bashing masculinity and basically calling cis men toxic. I just laughed and said they are gonna loose so much business over that and went about my day.

At the end of it all. It ends with what I call the “Ben Shapiro great debate”. Ben says he refuses to believe that medically and biologically believe there are more than two genders (that X Y thing again). But he has also said and agreed that he will still refer to the person by how they present themselves. And he gave this example, if he is meeting a transgendered woman for dinner he would say to the Maitre De I’m meeting that woman over there, the one in the tan dress. Because it makes the conversation easy. During the dinner conversations he has no problem using their pronouns she or they whatever that person wants, why because why would you want to offend the person your having dinner with and ruin the whole meal.

Biology needs to be different from identity. You present as a woman you identify as woman I have no problem calling you a woman and using she and her pronouns.

if you wanted to wear all olive drab and have a hat that had 4 planks coming off from the center in a cross pattern and tell me that you’re an Apache Chopper and you your pronouns are AH and 64. (AH-64 is the military designation) however you want to be addressed. But if you’re in an accident and you’re body is ripped open the paramedics trying to save you have to go off of medical gender not identity gender to save your life.

because long ago a word was associated to that biological construct. And that word has been used socially to describe it or reference it. It just so happened to be the word woman. What if it was the word Klatu. Or Verata. It would still be the argument just different words. The debate/fight over biology vs identity. Like I said I have no issue using what ever names or pronouns you want me to use to reference you.

does where it was posted change the facts on the police report? The witness statements? The victim statements? The charges filed?
The answer is no it doesn’t.
Is it the woman’s shelter’s fault for letting him in? Taking him at his word that he was really a transgender woman down on her luck needing a place? Instead of running finger prints looking for a criminal history before letting that person in?
But you won’t see those stories covered by left side media either. This is happening in your country and mine. It’s just not headline national news.

where is the fix for keeping someone like that out of a woman’s shelters, locker rooms, bathrooms? What’s the solution? You seem to have all the answers. How would you keep people like that out of places like those to keep the intended users safe?
Because honestly I don’t have one. The best I can come up with is use the facilities that’s meant for what’s between your legs. (Because a sex predator isn’t going to have his junk removed for that) That’s the bast I got, I know it will offend many people and be very degrading and embarrassing for tons of people transgender and cis gender alike, so it’s not a possible or viable solution, another one I have would be three separate facilities cis woman cis man and transgender. That would be fine for new constructions but what would it cost to overhaul existing structures?
What’s the answer then? What’s the solution that will work?

I know what won’t work, and that’s going after celebrities that run their mouth and say stupid shit. The smart person has already heard it and said “that chick is crazy she’s going to ruin her career saying things like that, what intelligent person would even take it serious? Oh what’s for dinner?” And they move on. Why because they have a trans person or a gay person in their life and know it’s not true. Fanatic radicals are the ones that need to be stopped and they have thought that way long before JK opened her mouth. And you have fanatic radicals on both sides in all countries. I am literally the average Joe conservative. But I know who my friends are, I trust them with my life, have known some going back 25 years since before they came out of the closet, or started to transition. And it never changed how I felt about them one bit.

Maybe I’m an optimist in the fact that I believe the majority of the people out there are genuinely good and look for the good in another person and not if how they present themself fits in their mold.
