Seems I have developed a case of jock itch from wearing my leather cock rings and ball stretchers. Has anyone else had this happen to them? If so, what did you use to get rid of it and how long did it take? Also, did it come back as you continued wearing your rings?

How long have you been stretching? How long do you wear your stretchers a day? Also it may the soap you're using to clean yourself or your gear. Cetaphil gentile cleansing antibacterial bar soap is good start. Are you moisturizing yourself with cocoa butter down there?

My biggest issue is chafing. So I wear a ring maybe for four days at a time, then take several or more days off. I do use moisturizer but not cocoa butter. Been using the same soap for many years, this is definitely being caused by the rings. I clean the rings with dish soap and dry them immediately.

Dish soap is a detergent and you may have developed a sensitivity to it. It is not intended for you on skin.

There are several ball “Deodorants” that go on as a liquid but dry as a powder. There are scores on Amazon to choose from. This may be helpful.
I’ve not had this issue but I typically wear metal or sometimes neoprene.
You might experiment with other materials and see what happens.
I recommend Lotrimin but if you look at the ingredients they all have one or another anti-fungal, so don’t stress over brand. Keep the area clean and dry and apply medication as directed. It should respond quickly due to vascularity of the region.
If you’re still battling it after 2-3 weeks go see your PCP. Typically it’s well managed with OTC creams. If yours doesn’t respond there may be other issues.

Is it only directly where the leather touches?

Some leather is chromium-tanned, and some people are sensitive to direct skin contact with chromium. If it doesn’t clear up with an OTC antifungal, stop wearing the cockring for a few days and try an OTC hydrocortisone *ointment* for a few days.
