Thank you Vegasnola

"Turf Gear" ?
Now that's a nerdy description if I ever heard one.
:)

Where's the "Turf" ???
Football ?
Golf ?
Mis-spelled "Surf" (for us swimmers who use jocks) ?

Something tells me Under Armour needs to replace their marketing guru.

1. They only have a "one-style-fits-all" jock strap !
2. It's a cup-holder !
....For Judo and Karate !
AND...
3. They've photographed their Web sales photo of the product in black, with a black background....
See Above......
? ? ?

No wonder I couldn't find (see) it.
:)

Back to HillCrestSwim I guess......
:(

A swim jock under loose surfer trunks is okay. I wear one in mixed company because if I sit in the sand anybody who looks into the shorts can see it. I won't wear one with speedos or any trunks where you could see the straps. Its nothing under the clothes if only around men. If something falls out, its just a joke or a nod and a quick adjustment takes care of it.

1. Not really crazy about the thong style BUT they are the first to fully accomodate my rig.
2. They were sent to me in a regular letter envelope and yet were able to easily accomodate by 9+ x 6.5+ plus nuts.
3. The fabric is amazing.

I've worn jocks "forever" seems like the older the softer and more comfortable.
I got used to the "zipper" imprint - GUESS my dicks' toughend up. Sometimes itchy.

Thank you for the quick responce.

We're in the process of moving....
(busy, hence - slow response from my end).

1. I'm one of the unusual guys (especially among joggers) who prefers thongs - single centerline strap - Vs dual "outside" straps as are usually found on jocks. The dual straps - especially with the thick waistband - moves up to above my hip bone and stuff tries to fall out the bottom when jogging. I buy the "swimmer", thin-band-type and make 'em into "thongs". Many guys do not like the feel of the single thong strap back there.

2. XL jocks don't "fully accomodate my rig" but I've learned to live with it. Since much is exposed, I wear dark shorts or swim trunks over jocks.

3. Roger that.
I remember the first pair of lycra swim trunks I wore to the community swimming pool. They were bright red, (looked like today's above-the-knee tights) when we got home my three little sisters told my Mom about 'em, she told my Dad and he took me up to their bedroom to talk about swim trunks. Probably would have been "no-big-deal" if my sisters hadn't seen me wet; it certainly exposes everything....
:(

The HillCrestSwim material seems to be "shiny".
Do you know if they sell 'em in a "dull" color - preferably dark, like black ?

Thank you for the HillCrestSwim info.
I shall buy and try a pair.

Though the "electric" colors, mainly yellow or blue strikes ya as shiney, Now, red and black do not pounce at ya, your rig does that. The trunk styles are offered in pastel prints that are neat to me. But, I need and like the deep pouch of the $32 dollar "floppy pouch" and my wife approves for underwear, NOT beach unless I wear a long tailed shirt for cover and allow limited flashes of "accidental" exposure.

10-4,
Thanks again for the quick reply.
Our wives and us are on the same page.

Black "floppy" it'll be.
:)

By the way,
what's the difference between the "extreme pouch thong" and the "floppy pouch thong" ? It doesn't seem to be the rear coverage ?

For me, the "Floppy" has a slightly deeper pouch - If contains, but does not necessarily squeeze and confine the rigging. Since I'm used to hanging down the inside of my right thigh, the floppy seems to organize and allow. I'll give ya a non- X rated flick of me (way back) in seated in jock and dungsrees.

Thank you Blackwood.

I'm X-USN also;
Alpha Tango 2nd.Cl., VA-15, CAG 6, "71 - '77.

You must have worn very loose-waisted Seafarer jeans to have fit.
While so attired I used high-thighed nylon briefs and kept myself
swung sideways. I could NOT fit down a leg past the crotch-crease
with the dungaree size I wore: 30 X 33.
Couldn't find a jockstrap that had a long enough pouch in those
days either.

Seafarer (Whitebacks). The jock normally a swimmer. I would wet them down in real hot water, then press the hell out of the pouch with medium hot iron. After the beating the pouch Did'nt support but did contain. My waist size at that time probably same as you.

Constant pull and tug all day. But were good ole days.

Pic taken ay Okinawa LORAN station summer of 64.

I asked HillCrestSwim about the Specialty Beachwear criteria and here's what "WJ" replied:

"All of the suits are a wonderful 85/15 blend, in flat colors...the black suits are a bit shiny.
The flopper cuts are more of a "D" cup, while the extreme or whopper cuts are a double D cup cut.
Which were you interested in?"

I haven't seen the "whopper" advertised but evidently they have two thickness to choose from.

Update RE: HillCrestSwim.com order

I received the wrong style.
No Invoice and no RMA number but they're going to let me return them
for an exchange. WJ handle it.

I prefer "thong" style jogging short's underwear. They sent me a pair
with a ladies "bikini" rear.

More later.

Got 'em !

I recommend you try the HillCrestSwim Specialty swimwear if you are large - not sure about the very long but thick guys will be well-served.
I received a pair of their large, black, Sand Beach models - a thong.
$ 32.00.
Fine for jogging/swimming underwear.

The material stretches very well and the seam is small and soft - it molds into your equipment and doesn't leave a vertical line. I need some added length and siding on a custom version before I can wear one at the apartment pool. I sent W.J. a design drawing showing the required modifications that their seamstress can make.
$35.00 plus postage.

Further comments about the original Large and the Dwg. will be sent if you'd like.
They may save you from buying the wrong size. (?)

:)

Very long guys will have to provide their OWN comments. I can't speak for them.

I wear jocks under jogging shorts or swim boxers that do not have the inner lining support. Have to to hold things in. I like to jog in sweats because I like the feeling from bouncing around. Jocks do get tight from hard-ons and the zipper look... I get over quickly. My jocks are the run of the mill athletic supporter type, I don't own any fancy models.
