What stores sell Jockstraps? I prefer to go in person rather than shop online

I live in North jersey. Models sells them and from time to time you will find some at Macy's. Nasty pig has a store in NYC, and you can find some in the village as well, on Christopher st. But online is going to have the best selection.

This last season I got totally razed for wearing a jockstrap by my younger teammates. I'm 50 and they are all in their 20s and lower 30s. They all wear compression shorts instead of jocks. Most have never worn a jock before. You younger guys out there, have/do you wear a jock and it's just my mates that are oblivious to them or are jocks a thing of the past?

I think you mean "razzed by younger teammates. "Razed" means "completely destroyed" as in razing a city.
However, you have my sympathy... or rather they have my resentment. it totally SUCKS that jockstraps aren't part of a dude's normal gym experience any more. They were a crucial rite of passage for me in jr hi and high school as they were for millions of other guys. (I'm 57). How the fuck did we get to this point where compression shorts are the thing to wear?? Jocks rule!

Couldn't imagine a time when a thick cock filling up a jock and bubble butt stretching the straps would be out of style. I used to wear a jock as underwear all the time.

Wear it with pride and put it on for all to see, I like some others above have no issues & neither should you. It’s just a different form of underwear. Think of it as the sports bra for your testicles. My wife was super upset the last time she went out and asked her to pick up some from the store. Her friend told her that jocks are only worn by gay men to have anal sex. Small minded people make the world a hard place for anyone to live.

Can be difficult to get Jocks in the UK retail, barring specialist (Often small) retailers, however I understand Sports Direct (They also do on line..... mate of mine used to work for one of their suppliers in Nottingham), has a small selection, but nothing like Bike etc

Not really, take a walk down to some sex shops (particularly gay ones) and they sell jockstraps (athletic and other). Failing that there's Amazon. Even ASOS do some nice diesel ones.

Talking about general retail outlets mind.... Certainly the sex shops around the East Midlands is not great at all, but a short walk from Birmingham New Street station, there is a fantastic one there.

Short of online or sex shops it's hard to find them in the UK. Debenhams and Selfridge's do some, as well as some of the larger sporting good stores but they're not really decent. Plenty of sites online will ship them to you.
Probably why they're not as prevalent in the UK in general, which is a shame as I live wearing them as day to day / gym wear.

Might be a rare thing/bigger stores but some stock the Calvin klien ones and that's just about it. Might depend on the area. But again, online is easier.

Much as I appreciate jockstraps, and indeed would call myself a jock hound or "fetishist," I don't get into "fashion jocks" like this. They're to self-consciously "precious". They cry out, "Look at MEEEE!" which to me is never sexy.
The hottest jocks are the classic old-school ones like Bike, Champion, and Duke. Guys that wear them do so because
a. their dads/older bros/teammates did and hence there's a nod do tradition
b. they think of them as athletic GEAR, not as sex clothing. This is much hotter.

I think photos like this all over the internet do a disservice to true old-school rockhounds like me. I realize there's nothing I can do about it, but I wish there were marketing campaigns featuring current athletic heroes wearing classic jockstraps--not showing their asses to get fucked but just hanging out in the locker room. See the Franco "Straight off the Mat" video series from the 90's. Then, still, guys were locked up. Some even wore plain white briefs.

I think it has alot to do with the "gen towel dancers." Which i think is a result of severe over thinking and worrying what people will say abt them.
I know there are threads on the towel dancers, ad nauseam, but i think it reverts back to to same mentality. Its sorta annoying. Its not a best support issue. compression short, jock strap, whatever.... theyll keep ur unit where its supposed to be and protect u from potentially hurting urself. Take ur pick, be comfortable.

If ur in a dudes locker room, ur gonna see a dude in his underwear, a naked dude, a dude changing, maybe even a dude looking for a self comparison. You guys just worked out or are about to, we all have testosterone, and its either pumping or pumped while on the machines and ur crashing so hard u dont give a fuck.

Granted theres the random creep who turns the lockerroom into a gauwk fest and looks a little longer, or hangs a little longer than he should. Honestly, i dont think theres as many trolls as everyone thinks either, maybe they just have nowhere to be or enjoying the time out away from the house, the wife, the kids, just enjoying a break from life, but cuz they were in the lockerroom an extra minute, they r "pervs casing the joint".
But at the end of the day all guys all have the same thing hanging between our legs.
If someones looks at u, accidently sees you or purposely sees you, if you look cuz u wanted to, or by accident, even if u accidently get a boner.... it doeant mean u have to change your orientation. It doesnt mean u were hit on or cruised.
Chances are u were already either gay straight, bi, or assexual before u went and were seen undressing in the locker room. That experience isnt going to change ur bodies chemicals.
I realize i went off topic on a beaten dead horse, but to prove my point.... u were ur own person before u went in, ur a grown man capable of making ur own decisions. If u wanna wear a jock?, wear the jock, or compression shorts, or a fucking potato sack if u want.... I couldnt care less, its ur decision, its ur preference.
Its pretty shitty of people to either
a.) make a thing out of it or
b.) make u question ur own comfort, or ability to make ur own choice.

I would not totally discredit these "fashion Jocks" (Certainly outside of the states, not many would have known what a Jock was, but thanks to the fashion side, more people now know about them), but I am totally with you in that for a proper experience, you need a Bike etc, not something that looks like someone cut the arse out of a pair of briefs, like some of the Andrew Christian range.

Just wear a jock that's comfortable for the occasion. For every day wear I usually pick a comfy cotton jock (nasty pig, aussiebum [not wonder jock, they can gtfo], curb wear, pump) and for the gym, something with a little more elasticity/breathability to it (Bike, Pump, Fort Troff). I really want to pick up some Papi (simple 3 pack), baskit, and Skull and Bones ones as they look comfy. I also have a mild infatuation with jockstraps.com Gym brand (AKA Bike V2) grey jocks as that colour looks fantastic, and my bike jocks are either too small or coming apart from years of wear

Been a few years since I tried C-in2, but I did go for their much wider waist band rather than the standard one.... that was ok, but felt I should have gone for an XL rather than L, but if you want more room, Obviously is a better choice (antofree and antomax types being the best for room, same applies in the rest of their types, like briefs etc), which you can get from KJ Beckett, or Dead Good Undies, or even order direct from Obviously (My last lot came direct from the factory via TNT in under a week, and did not have to worry about import duty too)...... all of these firms, are also on Ebay, though going to their sites give you better offers (New sign up discounts etc)

Oh and a tip... if you are on the upper side of the size limit, better to go for next size up.
