Not that I mind--I think they're cute and add to his distinctive look--but I wonder if Joe has considered otoplasty to reduce how far his ears protrude.
I know a couple of guys who had it done but their ears protruded far more than Joe's and really needed to have it done. The improvement was dramatic.

It's one of those things that he's probably sensitive about, I imagine he was probably teased about it as a child, but it also gives him a unique look that stands out in an endearing way. If Russell Tovey could make it work than so can he, haha.

Yeah. The guys I knew who had it--including a cousin--were teased mercilessly for it.
He shouldn't do any cosmetic surgery, he's beautiful as he is and his features are what makes him cute.
Oh for sure. Beauty is a strange thing, and while there are certainly people who conform to mainstream ideas of perfection, there are also lots of people whose imperfections combine in wonderful, fascinating and adorable ways. For a model, that might not be an asset, but for an actor it certainly is

I knew his costar would be more popular than him on LPSG and in general and have career after the show.Goes to show you how ppl are very superficial. I think it’s bc Kit is straight presenting.
Joe is lovely and adorable, but he's also out. Because Kit Connor is buff and at least str8-presenting, his thread allows people to spam it for hours wallowing in self-loathing homophobia, and the masochistic fetish fantasy of desperate gays throwing themselves at str8 aloof men who would never touch them. No matter how often Connor proves himself to be a lovely person (who may well be bi and not str8), that shit is going to keep happening so long as one more sad gay dude keeps jerking it to the idea of a beefy jock sneering at them.

Gay men have this obsessoon with straight presenting/not out men. They will support a straight man before they do a gay out man. It’s crazy.
It's hard to find a thread on here these days without petty bickering and this one is no exception. But I have to say this one is much more enjoyable than the Kit Connor thread. I had to stop following that one.
It happens, but in this case, it's because they associate Kit with his character in the show. Most people in the gay community identify with Charlie's experiences more and would love to have their own Nick in their lifes.
But while I find both adorable, I like Joe's personality and unique features more.
A lot is projected onto poor Kit based on people's own neuroses and anger. It's ridiculous.
