The kit thread got closed down cause people were posting pics of him from the show and his old gym pics from twitter.
Whenever the Kit thread does reopen I'm just gonna sit back quietly and watch the chaos for a bit, because I'm not sure anyone either knows how to act or knows what is okay to be posted content-wise. I do hope the trolls who drove him off twitter rot.
The Joshua Bassett thread got closed for sharing pics of a character who was underage (even when Joshua the actor was over 18), so I’d stay clear from sharing any photos from the show when it drops
Yeah, it's really not difficult... No comments or pictures of anyone, real or fictional, who is under 18.
Comments about Joe Locke filming a new season of a show are okay...
Comments about Joe's character who is under 18 doing something in a scene are not okay...
Pictures of Joe Locke that were taken after he turned 18 are okay. Pictures of Joe Locke taken from a show where he's playing an underage character are not okay.
Notice a pattern? If the person or character referenced, shown, or depicted is under 18 it is not allowed.
At this point, the people who keep complaining about this are just trying to cause problems.

It is still very weird to me that there's this ban on talking about underage fictional characters, when the person portraying the character is verifiably of legal age. I have never encountered a comment where someone is specifically interested in the underage character.
I have definitely seen people interested in talking about that, and I can understand mods clamping down on that. Where it gets tricky is discussing the general basics of an adapted comic (for example, if people simply ask 'why is Heartstopper shooting in France'), but since I am no avid reader of the original story that's really not my problem or my business.
This is a sex website... You know a website about sexually explicit things, mainly big dicks (it's in the name)... Because this is a sex website and because there are laws prohibiting content containing people under 18, this site has a rule forbidding it.
I'm not sure how this is confusing to you...
I think it's pretty weird that people continue to want to post content and talk about underage people/characters on a sex website after they've been told many times to stop.
I frankly don't think any threads about Heartstopper performers are going to survive once Season 2 is live (let alone any shots of filming or actors out of character from paps or fans on social media). And while there are definitely bad apples and creeps out there I don't think the reason is going to be because everyone is trying to discuss anything underage or inappropriate. But since I generally never post anything but IRL photoshoot pix and dumb jokes I will wait and see what happens.
I don't think it's even that people want to keep talking about underaged characters (for the most part, I'm sure there are some creeps) I think it's that they don't understand why they can't talk about the actor playing that character when everyone knows they are of age in the real world
No one has said you couldn't talk about an actor that is of age... You just can't talk about the underage character they play.
Say if the rule was no posting content or comments of people over the age of 50. Bob is 35 he is playing a 55 year old character named fakeBob in a movie.
We CAN talk about who bob's dating, who Bob went to the beach with, what they ate for dinner, who they made out with, etc., as long as no one is over 50.
We CANNOT talk about how hot the scene with fakeBob and another character was in the upcoming movie. Or how excited you are to see the scene where fakeBob is running shirtless on the beach. We cannot post pics of fakeBob shirtless running on the beach.
Once Bob turns 50 we can no long discuss or post photos of Bob.
