If so, it means that each actor is what they play. While Joe and Sebastian haven't made official statements it seems quite clear that they're queer from their social media posts, and possibly a couple as well.

I know who people are following on social media isn’t an indicator of everything all the time, but Joe’s been following “best of grindr” on instagram as well as quite a few drag queens, Michelle Visage, and lots of queer actors since long before he was cast in Heartstopper. So if there were any doubts before I think it’s fair to say he’s not exactly trying to hide the fact that he’s gay.

Are people blind? How in the world could someone ever think that Joe was Ugly? I mean I know that it would be their personal opinion, but still. I don't think Joe is unattractive at all. In fact, I'd say he's very cute, sweet, and adorable. The audacity of some people. Whatever happened to manners and civility, and a general respect for another person?
