My understanding is to ensure players aren't providing urine samples from hidden false bladders with "clean" urine on their person, they must raise their shirt above the lower torso and lower shorts to their thighs when providing a urine sample.

No, my company does urine testing (not for the AFL) and it has to be in view - with at least the door open. And there is to be no access to water (so as not to dilute it). Toilet water is to have chemicals in it (like a blue loo - so they can't use it) and if taps are in there they are to be shut off.

It would have to be in their contracts. Just as it is at many standard work sites that require heavy machinery to used while on the job. Although that is more like every 6 months, if there is any just cause for concern or random spot checks.
