The porn scene was so different during those days. A couple dozen guys, maybe three dozen women did the majority of the work. Producers actually thought they were making movies and tried to have a story tying things together. Many used the 35mm cameras that Hollywood blockbuster movies were shot on. Even lowly 8mm is better than VHS.
Once paid $70 for a VHS movie which would be a couple hundred bucks today. Everybody had a VCR, there was a video rental store every 1/2 mile or so. Rentals were $3 for 24 hours. I still have about 700 original porn movies on VHS. Spent plenty! The quality was fine on a 24" set. Not so much on todays LED 65" sets.
Doesn't almost everybody miss the "good old days" though? Now the girls must have perfect teeth and some look like super models. Never expected this.
How many women have shot porn anyway? I'm sure some posters here know some of the women. Can't help but wonder what they are like in real life. A bit over sexed I might imagine. Lol no. Super model just means you are tall and skinny. Have you seen most of these females on TV today without the 100 pounds of makeup? Fake breast, plastic looking faces. Gross. If anything females today on TV are far less attractive today than they were back years ago. The only problem I have with porn back then was the bushes. I am not a fan of bushes. They gross me out.
