^The only thing that becomes more apparent by the day is your obsession with Obama.
Los Angeles TimesIt's a lose-lose situation for President Obama.
Endlessly derided for his drone-like or lack of response to the Gulf Coast oil disaster, the one time the president actually showed some emotion, comedian Jon Stewart rips him a, errr, rips him in half, we'll say.
Stewart then became a geyser himself, spewing frustration over the president's use of the word "complicated" when discussing any of the big issues. Mentioning the oil disaster, financial regulatory reform, healthcare and Guantanamo Bay, Stewart's staff -- of course -- had video footage of the president using "it's complicated" to describe each one.
"SO SIMPLIFY IT!" Stewart yelled at one point. "You're the president!"
LOL!
Actually, those aren't questions (the way in which they are worded) that have any relevance to the discussion...which is why whoever wrote that article asked them...![]()
As if the answers to those questions somehow support ObamaCare. Nope.
Well...Jon...you wouldn't know it from leadership or management abilities. Obama has no idea what he's doing. He just calls endless meetings with hundreds of other smart people to tell him what to do.He doesn't even know whose butt to kick.
Sorry but at this point, even I must put you on ignore for good, because your worsening illness just isn't funny anymore. It's simply frightening and alarming. I hope you get help for your worsening condition.
We all get it now... You really, really, REALLY hate president Obama. Good for you, you have proven your hatred so thoroughly, that not a shred of doubt remains.
Discredit the quotes from The Heritage Foundation. Join the conversation and prove the quote from the CBO Director wrong and statement based on CMS and CBO information inaccurate.![]()
With all these desperate attempts by our beloved forum gnat to change every topic into a Health Care Debate, I'm starting to suspect that someone at the kennel has denied Trinsanity's claim for Geritol or something.
Why don't we have a 'Put Trinity on Ignore' Drive? We won't stop until everyone has signed up:biggrin1::biggrin1: :tongue:
Why is Obama bending "too far to the right?" And what constitutes bending to the right in Obama's current agenda?Obama's drop in approval rating is two-sided. On the left, you have those of us that are displeased that he is bending too far to the right.
That is just silly. Evidently you don't know about the well funded political machine on the left.On the right, you have a corporate funded political machine buying principles with campaign contributions.
That is just silly too. When Obama is fine in the polls the American people who are mesmerized by a hopey changey speech are well informed but when Americans actually evaluate Obama on his performance - oh then the Republicans are better at using biased propaganda...ridiculous.Too many armchair citizens lap up heavily biased propaganda masquerading as news. Swaying public opinion is an industry and, unfortunately for "we the people", the republican party and conservative groups are better at it than the dems.
I watch all of the popular pundits and mainstream news but spend about twice as much time reading actual policy and reflecting on the far-reaching effects on our economy, reputation abroad, civil rights, and environment. I would respect more conservatives if they didn't regurgitate talking points conjured up by a corporately funded think tank and actually supported their views with a valid argument.
Obama did not have the support of the people on healthcare which is why he is still trying to SELL it. The drop in Obama's approval rating can be attributed to Obama's ineffectiveness period. Most of the drop in Obama's approval rating can be attributed to the effectiveness of conservative corporate propaganda against the dem's policies. To pass, healthcare reform had to be watered down to please hungry pockets more than the people.
Then why don't both of you realize that this person has some serious personal issues and put her on ignore? It's not good for her mental state to be goaded into worsening this obsessive condition.
I'm just engaging in the sick pleasure of taking the occasional pop shot, which I can do regardless if I engage it in an actual discussion or not. If people like that can insult the overall intelligence of this board with their obsessive use of talking points and their shield of partisan opinionated media pieces, then it's worth it to call them stupid once in a while.
And that can be done even if he/she/it/whatever is on ignore.
