No, it doesn&#39;t sound cold to me. Images can be used to promote a variety of reactions depending upon the context of presentation.

And, to be fair, I also don&#39;t think Democratic party strategists would advocate voters seeing photos of Senator John Kerry casting a vote in favor of the war.

But it was W and his cronies who pushed for the war and so its aftereffects, good and bad, are his legacy. I just think that if the voters are saturated with video of W strutting on the deck of an aircraft carrier in a military flight suit they should also see the images of coffins, missing limbs and shot-out eyes. The latter are more sobering reminders of the realities of war and empire.
