There are some very good treatments for the big "L" these days. I have had several people in my live over the years that have beat it. All depends on the specific type, and the aggressive nature of that type. At the same time, in any form of cancer your own attitude and thinking is very important. I have a friend who beat stage 4 lymphoma after seven bouts with chemotherapy and then finally a bone marrow. He had been written off again and again by MD's and he was the one who got the last laugh!

You're in my prayers and thoughts. Don't give up hoping and fighting, believe in a happy end.

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. As with the rest of your lpsg community, my thoughts and prayers are with you. The stronger your will, the better you'll be. Keep the faith.

don't tell people you "have it" keep saying the doctors say you have it. my doctor has been trying to give me lupus for 5 years. i keep telling him i'll never get it because quote: that shit hurts and it kills people: end quote. so five years later he's still testing me for it. so you just keep blaming the dr or whoever but don't ever say 'i have it' your body will respond to your mental rejection of the idea and the idea that you are running it out of your body. you can be afraid. but only five minutes a day :) then you have to run it away with a torch and perhaps a glass of wine? or you know. something symbolic *glass of wine*
