So far I have not had any issues except the sensitivity thing where the ring enters (or exits) the urethra. I can't sleep naked just yet because when I move it causes the ring to move and I get a jolt! So I'm sleeping in briefs still. I hope that bit of sensitivity fades.

I wore a jock to support the ring when I was pierced. I would never be able to sleep in briefs (don't even own any) Try taking short naps nude to see if you can sleep normally.

hi guys. A bit of a problem this morning. I slept naked and woke up this morning with a little lump to the side of where the piercing went through along the ridge of my glans. What do you make of it?

Small bit of swelling, which can happen with PA's..... I'd not worry about it bud, as chances are, you may have snagged it slightly when sleeping.

Keep drinking a lot of water so you keep having to piss. I agree, you may bay played with it in your sleep or snagged it on something. If it does not go down within a day, see a doctor to make sure you don't have an infection.

Seems a lot better today - much more normal than same time yesterday. I also put some Neosporin on it. It makes it a bit easier sliding around and it's suppose to help prevent scarring and speed healing.

I have had mine for probably about 8 years and love it. I think my cock looks plain without it now. I currently have a 6 gauge in it, and I don't have a big cock, but I think it looks fine.

6g? I think the piercer told me I'm starting out at 12g. Looks like I have a ways to go until I can get to 6g. Thanks for sharing the picture.... I'd like to see more if you don't mind sharing.

I'd be careful with neosporin, because it won't let the wound breathe and heal naturally. Urine, salt water and time are really the only thing you need for it to heal quickly and safely.

Congrats!

Ditto on this, as using any anti-bac products can make heeling times much longer oddaly enough.

Salt bathe the area is about all you will ever need.

I've had a PA for about 5 years now.. I love the thing. But I started out at a 12ga and the best thing I did was get a bigger gauge.. the bigger I went the more comfortable it got.. So now I'm at a 6ga and thats just right.

Thanks guys. I'm doing the salt baths but I'm not sure how much salt is enough and how long to stay in the tub?

TBH, small plastic bowl with about two teaspoons in warm (Not hot / boiling water), will do the job enough, and a small face cloth / sponge, until you see minimal redness / scabing, which then will tell you that it's heeled enough. Keep at this for at least 2 weeks, or as long as you feel you need to.

I went to a piercing shop here in Prague today because I wanted to get their opinion on the size of the ring I have. It is 3/4 inch (20mm) and 2mm (12g). He said it looked a bit small but didn't have a 25mm ring on hand. The one thing that struck me was, compared to the shop in the US where I got pierced, they had a box with compartments and each compartment had different size rings. In the US, the guy also had a box but each ring was individually sealed in a packet that resembled a condom package. I'm guessing that the piercers here clean them before they insert them.

Anyway, they didn't have the large diameter ring so I'll check back in a few days.

P.S. I forgot to mention the reason for looking at a larger diameter ring. When I get hard my head swells and the ring seems to small. It really pushes against the ring. When soft, it's fine.

yep, 12g is a bit on the small size.

It's more common to get as a starter ring, either a 8 or 10g.

As for the shop in Prauge, either take it home with you, and give it a quick salt bath, or make sure the shop steralizes it in front of you, as I am not massivaly happy hearing they are just basicaly thrown in to a small drawer, without being wrapped, so makes me think what their other pratices are like.

I always order my replacement rings on line and they come in little packets ready to go. I like chaing gang as they are very reasonable. I bet you can find one that will ship to you that would be cheaper and you would not have to worry about how clean it was.

One thing I forgot to say, is no matter if the ring is in a pre-sealed pack or not, like you do with any sort of piercing items, sterilise it always first before wearing it, and especially when you have not long been pierced.

I would wait till the piercing has actually heeled before you go changing rings, even if it's pinching slightly.

Stan, I put the larger diameter ring in but took it out after two days and put the original back. It was too early - you were right. I could not adjust to the weight I think. The small diameter ring is easier to adjust to.

I was wondering the same thing about the much larger ring. I WANT to stand to pee. Will this be a problem as I increase sizes? I mean, I want to show it off. Going into a stall won't be fun at all.

Hi Mr, well done though I recommend to take it slowly with stretching at the beginning and give it time, the bigger the jewellery gets eventually the heavier it gets as well and the stretching will almost happen by itself.
I wanna get my PA re done or at least try and fit a smaller piece in as the hole is still open.

Anyway look after it ...
