Just got circumcised 2 days ago and I have concerns

You appear to have a fairly "low" circumcsion in that the scar is close to the rim of head. So the only part of your frenulum left would be the part attached to the glans.

The ventral side (side where freulum is) takes longer to heal and swells more. For 2 days, your dick looks really fine. Swelling may increase a bit in the next couple of days before going down.

Once the stitches fall off or are taken out, you'll find the appearance will quickly imporve day after day.

Congrats and enjoy the feeling of your naked glans against underwear !

, according to the doctor, my head is already keratinized so I will lose little sensation.

Just wait tell it's hard and crusty and you have no feeling left. Sooner or later you will regret it.

Also just because it's all ready keratinized does not mean shit
My is slightly keratinized but it does not mean I want to have my foreskin removed.
Even though it's in one small area the keratinizion, there is zero sensitivity in that area. Plus too many large arteries and veins are lost. Why risk a permanently limp penis.

For a circumcised guy, the frenulum is the center of the universe as far as sensation is concerned!

The frenulum is the centre of the universe for this uncircumcised guy!

I agree with Pecker, OP. You'll be glad you still have your frenulum. I've fooled around with a few of cut guys, and the presence or absence of a frenulum seemed to make a big difference in terms of sensation.

And, for what it's worth, your earlier model, as it were, looked great to me; and I'm sure the new one will look fine, too.

You are referring to superficial veins, which have next to no input on erectile function and are naturally routed by the body. Hell, I know this from a Google search. Also, keratinized head = no big deal. My head is already so sensitive it makes me jerk reflexively just from touching it; I'll probably be able to last longer.

I'm 7.75 x 5.5. Perhaps it looks smaller because I have large hands; I am almost 6'5". But thanks lol.

Yeah I have 3 very shallow (can been seen when hard)ones that do have input to the erectile function. If I got circumcised my penis would be broken and probably would not work correctly as they could get nicked as they are very close together .

I know no two are built the same.

Your cock will look exactly the way you want it to in a few days -- you just have to let it heal. But it does look damn sexy already. If you have always wanted to be circumcised, you made the right choice. It looked great before, but it's gonna look even better now.

The arteries that result in erections are not located in the foreskin.
If you look at before photos, you'll see I have ENORMOUS superficial veins. They are completely cut through and just hours after surgery I had an erection. I maintained an erection (incidentally) for a half hour today (two days after the surgery) no problem, despite having these thick veins sliced through and sewn shut.
Thanks everyone :p.

Yeah the ones I'm talking about are in a fixed position on the inner foreskin and visible .

It's very obvious that my foreskin was forcefully retracted in order to be circumcised.

You seem to mistake the anatomy of the penis. The veins and arteries that supply blood for erections are under every layer of skin on the penis. You would literally have to cut past all layers of skin to do damage to these important veins and arteries (deep enough to expose the corpus cavernosum and urethra). During a circumcision, only the outer skin and inner skin are touched at all. There are two additional layers of skin a surgeon would have to cut through to reach important veins and arteries. Unless your surgeon cuts your penis off, this won't happen.

Hi cavemonkey,

You have gone through circumcision one of the most memorable experiences of your life. I didn't have that benefit since I was circumcised as a neonatal like so many of my baby boomer contemporaries.

Allow yourself time for the healing of your newly circumcised penis. In many ways, it is considered major surgery.

Take care,

Thom./BigGlansDC

Hi cavemonkey
I think it is your penis and your decision. If you like no foreskin it is good you got circumcised. I did the same relatively late in life and I am quite happy. I also had a lot of swelling that is disappearing slowly because I had a rather high cut. Also in my case the underside is taking longer than the upperside. Just a few days after the procedure I was a bit paranoid (it was all black and blue) but now I am not worried at all that the end result will look great.
Good luck and keep us posted.

PS What type of technique did the surgeon use (since you are saying that veins were cut)? My surgeon used the freehand sleeve resection and my dorsal vein was not cut, which apparently happens in infant circumcision.

Dude it looks fine. I waited until i was 52 to have it done lol. We should only regret what we dont do and learn from mistakes. Dont let anyone dis you about choosing to get cut. You have control over your life. RESPECT m8 and the 10% gay part of your dick is all mine :)
