And your post sums up everything I hate about religion. Nobody here has criticised religion, they have criticised the fact that someone has essentially erased part of their life and denounced it, in order to be 'saved'. The implication with his new found faith, is that someone who is attracted to the same sex, and acts upon those attractions, is not worthy and is wrong.
You have then felt the need to express to us that you are happy because of your religious beliefs, us non believers could be happier too. Again, the implication is that we, as non believers, are less than and missing out. My life is very full thank you very much. I don't need a misguided belief in some mythical figure, or loose interpretation of some scripture, to make me feel full and my happiness does not depend on it, quite the opposite. You are entitled in your beliefs and if they work for you, great but I wouldn't feel the need to seek you out to tell you where how your life would be improved if you were a non believer, please don't do the same to me, as a follower of this thread. I'm here to get off, not be preached to!
