What is your routine/method for keeping fit?

Mine: I do a Crossfit workout according to the website posting or that a local class does on Mon/Wend/Fri.

This is the website if anyone is interested: Crossfit.com

I also try to adhere to a Paleolithic Diet (still eat a little bread though for the processed carbs)

I go to the gym three days a week. I play tennis at least two days a week and take a dance class one day a week. For the most part I follow the Mediterranean Diet.

I started doing pilates mondays , wednesday, friday, Yoga tuesday and thursday The weekend is usually cardio/dance ie; dancehall. I just started the "30 day total health makeover". I've cut out almost all dairy and meat with the exception of fish, but sometimes I will have chicken.

Sexercise three to four times a week. Running or cycling for 45 minutes five days a week. I'm not doing any weights since last spring.

I used to swim for an hour 3 times a week, recently (since October of last year) I switched to a cardio class 5 times a week. I lost over an inch in my waist. I'm happy about that.

Swimming is great but it didn't help in some ways -- it really stimulated my appetite. And swimming class is at night which means by the time I got home it was late and with a ravenous appetite it was bad news bears. Cardio class is during the day. I feel like it curbs my appetite, too.

I eat a low glycemic index breakfast weekdays (plain yogurt & fruit usually) and dinner is light as well, whatever for lunch but not fast food. I don't eat frozen prepared meals but I do utilize canned goods sometimes (canned black beans are a big staple for me). On the weekends I eat whatever I want within reason, no fast food though unless there is absolutely no other option (like if I'm on a road trip). I write everything I eat down so I know what I am consuming.

I take liquid vitamins and 1 shot of Total Goji 100 a day (it's the whole berry ground up and no additives). I love it for my skin and nails and hair, plus it helps me get restful sleep. (It also stimulates the libido quite a bit, in my experience.)

I swim (2 miles w/ club team) at least 3 times a week......in my speedo...haha!. Bike 3 times a week w/ 1 ride of 60-70 miles. Run 2 times a week w/ 1 run of about 10 miles.

I crashed on my bike last week and banged my back pretty bad. The guy in front of me crashed and took me down w/ him. I haven't been able to do anything since.

here is a pic of my big bruise.

Ouch! Lucky thing the Bruiser escaped damage. That woulda been a tragedy of 'epic proportions'.

Would have been fun - perhaps I should fly over and see a game with Cowboys or Rangers soon

Poor Cowboys are done for the year. The Rangers are always done for the year. Why don't I just put up my goal post and you try to dunk on me?

To Maggie:

Oh yes it totally works for me. But, I take the 100 percent pure stuff found here --

Genesis Today Power4

It's the whole berry ground up and nothing else.

I think a lot of the goji products out there are junk though, mixed with apple juice and other fillers. I wouldn't take it in a pill format, and that's out there too. I only trust Genesis Today's brand.

My hair grows SO fast, my nails are lovely, skin's nice (and I've got such sensitive skin), I love the sleep, libido's awesome and my mood is very even. I hardly ever get sick.

It's slightly pricey (like 30 to 40 bucks a bottle and a bottle lasts a month, but I think it's worth it).
