There are other threads here that go into his career more deeply. But the gist of it is, if I recall correctly (it has been 15 years since he has been active in porn), he just did a relatively small number of videos and returned to private life. His endowment and unique look (quite skinny, not muscled out or bleached blond; he looked like a normal, dorky guy, which is attractive to many people, including me) made him a sensation. But he didn't really go any further with it. His career would probably be very different if he was starting out now. He was not an ideal fit for the "studio" system which made "movies" as opposed to today when porn stars can just shoot sex scenes. I could see him being huge on any number of non-Hollywood websites now. Late '90s Falcon productions were centered on guys not like Kevin Dean. But internet-based porn has grown the Kevin Deans of the world into the stars, if not Kevin Dean himself. That said, the porn industry is so niche now anyway (which is a good thing; the consumer can find what they want, not what they are handed), there really won't ever again be "stars" like Idol, Stryker, Chandler, Ryker, etc. But to sum up, I think Kevin Dean is just a private citizen now. No matter what he looks like (and I have no idea), I bet that he could find ample opportunity to return to porn if he so chose.
