I wouldn't be surprised if he'd experimented with Richard in the past. I've heard rumors about them both, necessarily with each other. Again, rumors. I believe wholeheartedly that Kit is straight and isn't into men, but I've also read that he's very sexual and bottomed for a friend of his. He's also said in an interview he had a man crush on Richard. But again, it's all to be taken with a grain of salt.

I wonder how anyone would even know that he has bottomed for a friend? Any more info on that?

There have been zero rumors about Richard and Kit hooking up, zero rumors that Kit indulged anything with guys. Nothing outside of “Richard now seems to be ‘queer’ so maybe him and Kit hooked up”. And the whole “maybe he bottomed for a friend” is just pure fantasy. Furthermore, I just assume everyone in the entertainment industry has probably indulged some type of bi behaviors no matter sexuality, identities, relationships, and where they are in gender, romantic, sexual, affection, emotion, commitment spectrum. Yeah, someone posting “maybe this happened” on a forum doesn’t equate to a “rumor”. Almost everywhere someone says “what if these two good-looking male co-stars hooked up”, especially if one of them appears to be “queer”. That’s not a rumor. A rumor is something that persistently pops up in multiple places throughout time. And it helps if there’s some real context or “evidence”, even light non-evidence. That’s not even a “blind item” rumor. What you’re talking about is conjecture or even a fantasy scenario. Could it have happened? There’s really no one of any of us knowing. But Richard has supposedly “hooked up” with every decent looking male co-star he’s had according to what I see in these forums.

Also, if this “rumor” popped up a year ago, you’re talking about the rumor developing years after Richard was on GOT. So, it’s someone making hindsight “guesses”. Those type of things especially needs not to be taken seriously or presented as “serious” rumors. You’re also talking about knowing who bottomed for who. A “hook up” could be making out or dick sucking. Like I said, that’s not a rumor. It’s conjecture driven by fantasy and people’s inherently thinking every decent looking “queer” actor is hooking up with his male co-stars.
