When I was there about a year ago I tried out Imperial Day Spa. I haven't been to too many, but it was a little smaller than others I've been to. I had a pretty relaxing afternoon there and enjoyed the sauna, steam room, and hot tub. There are some other options in San Francisco that I didn't have a chance to check out. There is also a Russian banya that seems to have specific times when there are men only, women only, clothing optional. Imperial Spa is gender segregated, so nudity is pretty much to be expected.

You were right—Imperial was small. It was very relaxing and had a few conversations.

Glad you enjoyed your visit there. I was going to PM you to see what else you thought, but wasn't able to send a message.

Anyone ever get a body scrub and massage at Century? How was it? Any therapist or scrubber you recommend? Visiting LA soon and would love to go to a spa for a scrub. Thanks.
I have they are great. You feel like you have a new layer of skin after.

Does anyone know what happened with Ktown Sauna in NYC? It was new...very small but nice. And then it just closed for “repairs”...it’s been closed for months...I thought someone here may have heard something. It wasn’t very big but very nice to have a real Korean spa here in the city...and there was always something going on....

website shows its back open again. Looks like they added a red clay room, dry sauna, and a salt room; and redid the steam sauna. Pools look about the same as they were before from the pictures.

I will be in LA in a few months for biz and wanted to try a body scrub at Century. Any therapists you’d recommend? Should I add on the oil massage? Would love to hear what people’s experiences have been there. Feel free to message me if you want. Thanks.

I've gotten at least a half dozen scrubs/massages at Century from different guys and never had any "funny business." I typically do the scrub and oil massage. It's great. Comes with a cucumber mask.

The wet room is shared with two other tables and I've never seen any other action either. That's not to say guys don't walk out of the area with erections (guys always are hiding them under their towels -- many hung 7-9"). Wet area is past the showers so still part of the main area.

Most of the massages are fine. One guy who wears glasses and a headband gives very deep, almost painful massages.

Just a word about Century. There is a lot of prejudice against Asians there. I've heard every excuse from people thinking all Asians work there to the usual "No Asians" attitude. You may -- sorry, will -- find yourself walked out on and white (and more recently, black) guys literally turning their noses up and looking down on you. I went yesterday midday and it wasn't super crowded, but got walked out on EVERY time I entered a room. Sometimes they will intentionallly close a door in your face. Keep in mind I am not one or those creeper guys who beelines to the back of the steam room, touches or stares at other guys. It feels really terrible.

A few notes on other spas.

In SF, Kabuki just remodeled and there are very sttraattra patrons that go there -- Century caliber. There may be the occasional boner but no action as the attendants are in the spa area. Generally chill attitude.

Imperial Spa SF is very small and very cruisy. Way expensive for the quality of the facility. Usually guys are chill -- some attitude. One tall white guy was exceptionally rude to me and he got busted and thrown out when the attendant did he walkthrough (which is every few minutes). Karma.

Imperial Spa Vegas is much larger but I'm surprised to read you had any action with your massage, given they have warning signs everywhere and earlier this year implemented (the unenforced) policy of having to wear a swimsuit in the steam room. Sometimes chill, sometimes insane attitude from the patrons (one Latino or Persian patron rudely walked out on me every time -- ironic since he had Chinese calligraphy tattoos running up his leg).

After reading about Century Day & Night Korean Spa in LA on this forum, I decided to visit it for the first time last weekend and ended up seeing more action there than just about any spa, bathhouse, or even sex club I've ever been to.

On Saturday, there was just a steady stream of guys in and out of the steam room the whole time I was there, and the room was almost constantly packed, with handjobs and blowjobs galore happening in the back of the steam room. But my favorite room was actually the clay sauna, where there we almost a non-stop circle jerk going on with up to 7 men at a time. I ended up cumming twice during the 3 hours that I spent there.

And then there was Sunday. I arrived to find that the steam room was completely closed for repairs. I was initially disappointed, but I soon discovered that it was a blessing in disguise. With the steam room closed, anyone who was going to Century just for a regular spa experience didn't bother paying for a spa pass, leaving just guys who were there to get it on with other guys. And boy, was the action hot and heavy. With the steam room out of commission, the mist room, clay sauna, and outdoor patio were constantly full of horny dudes, and since everyone was there for sex, everyone was more brazen about just plunging into circle jerks and handjob and blowjob orgies. I jerked off with 3 different bears in their 20s in both the mist room and outdoor patio, even letting one of them cum in my mouth. The highpoint of the afternoon was the 17-man circle jerk in the clay sauna, which also had some blowjob and handjob action. I made a point to stop and count how many men were packed into that room with their dicks out because I could hardly believe it.

drainedmt, I didn't experience the prejudice against Asians that you mentioned. As you know, I'm a middle-aged Asian guy, so I'm not even one of those young Asian twinks that a lot of guys seem to like. And yet I found so many guys of all ethnicities, ages, and sizes to play with at Century. Maybe because there was such a wide variety of men (and so many of them) that there seemed to be something for everybody at any given time in a room.

I'll definitely be making regular return visits to Century, but probably not for a while. I'm still exhausted from my weekend there!

Went to Century only once and saw action in the steam and other rooms.
I went for an oil massage in the wet area and a middle aged Asian attendant gave a great massage with lots of ass & cock touching. This was a surprise and loved it!!!

The middle aged Asian dudes always get attitude and walked out on -- probably because most patrons think they are there for the "spa pass."

I almost never see any white guys playing with Asian guys, unless they are very hung (rare), muscular (one tatted bodybuilder has an almost neanderthal face), or twink (one white guy always whores out Asian playthings).

Good for you though. It may be a one off as if there was one less place to play, guys are more tolerant of you.

Let me know how future visits go. Maybe we'll run into each other and you can tell me why my experience is so different than yours, and if I'm hideous or not.

How long ago was this and what time of day?

I find this highly improbable now given the wet room is a shared space.

Ah ok there's always two other guys plus their masseurs there when I go.

Yep, they have two to three tables back there and the majority of the time I've gotten a massage it's been there and there been other naked men getting massages on the table.
You don't have time to glance over and check if other guys are getting hard or not as you're either face down or face up and sometimes they even put a towel over your eyes to relax you more.
