That's what I thought for a long time too. So I bought a second one.
However, I've found that the part of the shaft that goes into that part only increased a little and it gives it a nice
pyramid shape when out of the tube w/out a donut at the end and
w/ the whole head end swelling out nicely. My pics are on pg. 2 of this thread
And you have to measure carefully so you know the exact length when fully packing the main tube.

Thanks, Tool. I'm piecing together the info I wanted to make an informed decision when I buy. I've spent enough on tubes already to buy a small house.

Exactly....I like the shape of the head part.
I've been watching it for years but it never goes on sale !!
There's also the Frohle tube from I think Germany, but again too pricey !

Hey big I'm interested in getting one but if your head is expanding wider than the tube how do you get it off?

...very carefully...lol...no just kidding.
Actually the skin compresses enough to slide it off when you release the pressure.
Also I've noticed that the increased fullness stays.
I always show a nice coronal ridge when freeballing now that I never had before.
